Excellent food and very good service. We had a nice evening. The choice of dishes is very broad and they are cooked fresh (so don’t be upset if you have to wait a bit for your main)

The service was too slow. My first perception that I am living in old British Raj where white people were given preferential treatment including being overly polite and helping out with their coats. This was my first time and we didn't receive any of it. The service very slow took 45 mins for the main course. No water was offered from the beginning and when asked for it, the stewards prioritized seating other customers than offering us water. Moreover, the water was ice cold which had to returned

Went there for a business dinner. Great food, staff warm and friendly. Service was ok. Menu choice was varied and there was something for everyone. Would visit again.

May be we picked a wrong day. Lamb dishes were undercooked and the portion not so great. Not a wow service. Will go again..not so sure !

Food is absolutely amazing as always, very lovely manager too. However, the staffs are not friendly in particular one person who tends to be ignorant at most times and doesn’t seem to care. No greetings when we arrive and not helpful what so ever. We are regular customers and his attitude makes us not to come there any longer. Please train the staffs properly.

Great food at a very reasonable price, although slow to take our order. Lovely staff. The decor is very pleasant and comfortable. Overall a great place to eat.

I have never tasted anything so yummy before!! Everything had so much flavour!! I can’t wait to come back again when I am in town

Great food as always. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Lumbini's is fast becoming one of my favourite restaurants. It's a little gem not too far from Uxbridge tube.

Excellent service and great food. My wife had the chicken shashlik which was cooked perfectly. I had the tandoori mixed grill which was incredibly generous and also delicious.

We are regular customers of Lumbini. The food and the ambience was great but not the service! My husband and I loved going to Lumbini because of good service in the past. We took friends with us this time and the waiter was just so rude to us. And when we complained to the man in charge, he started defending his employee rather. He told us the ownership has changed and that the restaurant is so busy these days etc. But as a customer I have come to the restaurant to have a pleasant meal! Not to be treated badly by a rude waiter!!!!! Will not visit again! It's really sad because we enjoyed going there until now!

Service was poor, food was cold and nothing special, which was a shame because I was anticipating something different. We were shown to our table on arrival and left with the menu...20mins later I called a waiter to ask if we could order drinks, then had to call them over again to order food, but he said his colleague would take our food order. Two of the waiters just walked up and down looking at customers and didn't seem to know what to do, except serve drinks and clear tables. We ordered our food all together, as it seems we'd be waiting for a while...our starters came out less than 10 minutes after we ordered, chilli chicken and Awuja prawn delivered 3 minutes after poppadums, and they were lukewarm...our glasess were never refilled, the mains came out really quickly after our starters were cleared away, and although hot, they were not as described in the menu. We had chosen two dishes supposed to be spicy and with chilli, Bhedha Gurkali and Masso Masala...they were a huge disappointment. Everything tasted processed, the flavours were bland and uninteresting, the meat was hardly marinated and the curry was tasteless and generic like a jar of Uncle Ben's. We won't be going back.

An hour wait to order food, then potatoes in starter rock hard (uncooked) then unfortunately my lamb main was watery. Spoke to waiter, new management and chef. Will not be returning

Great meal, full of flavours and different spices, tried Figsy Macha (salmon dish) for the first time - really delicious - we wondered why we hadn't tried it before! Great restaurant, staff are friendly and know their food so don't hesitate to ask their advice. It's our No 1 restaurant in the area.

Went here to celebrate a birthday and had a lovely meal. My mum is vegetarian and there were plenty of options for her too- Really great menu choice, good food good service and very reasonably priced :)

As always the food was excellent. The portions were generous and the service was friendly and efficient. The beer was very cold. Great value. We shall be returning soon.

Excellent food, marred by a 70 minute delay between sitting down and food arriving. The restaurant was around 65% occupied. Monkfish curry ordered but Salmon dish delivered. Rest of meal as ordered. Usually much better service, this visit was not to the usual standard.

We had some friends with us from Germany and Australia and they all loved it. We will certainly come again. We all loved the goat.

Amazing food and fabulous service even though they were extremely busy. Love lumbini. There cauliflower special is the perfect accompaniment to there yummy curries. Will return again & again

Great welcome really tasty food. Goat curry is a must.! Really relaxing enjoyable evening. Great surroundings. Parking a bit tricky but worth the effort of finding a place. Will go again.

Always good food and relaxing atmosphere. A chance to unwind at the end of the week with freshly prepared food that is very tasty. Highly recommend it.

Food was excellent. Service was brilliant with the exception of one waiter who was rushing us to order. We informed the manager who apologised on his behalf. Lovely decor and ambience

I went there with my managers (5 people in total) from work as it is local to us. It was the first time we had been there and we had a very pleasant evening. The service was very good and we asked the waiter to provide a selection of starters we could all enjoy and they were all enjoyed. We then chose our mains and shared them to have a good overall taste of all the dishes, which were very good and we were all satisfied with the meal and service. We will certainly return and will recommend Lumbini to our colleagues.

Bad experience, food was Ok, nothing to be excited about, and service was a shambles...Long wait for the food and even longer to be able to order it

This is a lovely restaurant. My partner and I went there for date night, the portions are huge we brought nearly half the food back in a doggy bag that the restaurant was kind enough to put together for us. The ambiance was nice and the food tasted great. The only thing that stops me giving full marks is that we tried to use the taste card deal we found online and it was not so easy. The deal reads 2-4-1 on all starters and mains. When it came to paying the bill we were told that we have to buy starters and mains. My partner and I both read the terms of the deal back to our waiter and he kindly gave us the money off but told us he was doing this out of kindness not because that is how the deal works. He went on to explain that they have been running the deal for years and it had always worked this way, didn't feel like the customers always right, attitude that he first gave when taking the money off our bill. That being mentioned I would visit again.

Great food. Very authentic compared to other Indian restaurants I have been and reasonably priced. Lovely with a relaxed atmosphere. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant is run by lovely people and the food is always good. When is a big group we ask them to bring a selection of food and its a feast and each item is wonderful. I am always made to be very welcome and my names always remembered even if its 9 months between visits which is was until a month ago then I was reminded of the quality I have been 3 times since then.

Fab restaurant fab service and always good food. The spicy goat is the best on the menu. I would highly recommend this wonderful place. Go for the evening and enjoy great Nepalese food.

Overall a good night. Service was a bit slow maybe being down to it was very busy. The food was very good and there was plenty of it. Disappointing that we had 4 bottles of Prosecco and we were given 3 different types,1 which was a bottle you could buy in Aldi for apx £5 and we were charged £21.95 for it, a bit of a rip off.

Food is nice but the services are not at all good. The staff is not well trained or may be experience.It takes a huge amount of time to make orders.I don't think so the staff was less when I visited.It's just the management was not right.

Nice food and good service. Booked for 15 people for a colleague's leaving do. Food served immediately and was in good quantity. Loved all the starters

The food was excellent, as usual. However, this time the experience was let down by bad service, we waited over an hour for our food, which was much too long. We will be back as the food is good.

We had to wait more than an hour for our food. They should have told us when we booked for 13 people that the wait time will be so long. We arrived at 7.30 and had our main course served just after 9pm.

Not enough experienced staff available to take orders [only one!!]. The manager does this himself, on a round-robin basis from table to table so this meant you could be waiting a while between courses! Having been there before and it not being this bad, I'd like to hope this was down to management wanting everything to be perfect due to it being Valentines day. [as it turned out this had a bit of a negative effect]. Overall experience was great though. Food was really nice and everyone was very polite and helpful (when they did eventually get to your table!).
