Inside the Lysses House Hotel in the heart of Fareham, you’ll find The Richmond Restaurant. This is a charming Georgian dining space on High Street fit for breakfast or a fine dinner, and the food is nothing short of brilliant. The menu is made up of classic British flavours and all dishes are prepared using the highest quality, locally-sourced ingredients. At lunch, try the grilled chicken breast with shallots, chorizo sausage, sauteed potatoes and a port sauce, or, for dinner, you’d be wise not to miss the rump of lamb brushed with a tarragon and dijon mustard sauce. Famous in Fareham, the Lysses House Hotel and The Richmond Restaurant are the real deal.
We had our wedding reception at Lysses a year ago and this year we went back there for our anniversary and it just brought back lovely memories of our wedding. The place is clean and very organised, the kitchen staff think on their feet as we were surprised to be presented with a dessert plate with Happy Anniversary writen in chocolate around the edges. That was very thoughtful.:) The food is still as tasty as it did a year ago and we really enjoyed our day at Lysses.
