The truffle (an £18 optional extra on a starter for 2g) could not be tasted at all. When raised with 2 waitresses they were rude, told us we were wrong (my partner knows the taste of truffle and regularly cooks with it) and were asked to wait whilst they spoke to the chef. After waiting for 10 minutes we tried flagging the waitress multiple times and were ignored. After a further 10 minutes my partner got up and went to get the waitress. Although it was eventually removed from the bill it had spoilt the mood of the meal as I had long finished my starter and partner's dish had gone cold (his starter was not removed from the bill, only the additional truffle). For the price, I can think of a lot better places to eat at with higher quality produce and better service.

Delicious food, very well price and following covid protocols. They have a lovely terrace just outside of their door.

Good food and variety, although the noisy meat cutting might be a little graphic for some.

To begin with I have been here before and it was excellent so it was a huge disappointment to have such a terrible experience this time around. The service was atrocious as we had to ask multiple times for a glass of wine we ordered, it took forever to order our mains and we kept asking for water but never received any. The food was sub-standard and for what we paid it was terrible as it was ridiculously expensive. They also forgot to bring multiple sides we ordered. I can safely say I will not be coming here again.

We were very well looked after the whole time by the staff, the steaks we shared were huge and delicious although quite pricey. Worth it for a special occasion or get lots of different plates and share them. I can’t fault anything except that we were the only guests at lunchtime on a Thursday due to COVID, so lacking that buzzy atmosphere.

One of the very few places in London where you can taste a real Fiorentina.

I think the public heath scare is affecting many small restaurants and we were so sad for the staff at this local restaurant when we found we were pretty much the only table. 6 of us did our best to make an impact though and the food was delicious. Starters of Burrata and prosciutto crude gave us exceptional ingredients, full of flavour. Followed by shared platters of aged Fassona rib eye steaks and calves liver. Top quality well hung beef perfectly cooked. Good spinach and salty chips...what more could we ask for? Good wine list. Don’t let the coronavirus stop you from enjoying this restaurant...it’s wonderful

First time for me and my husband and we loved it! The staff was wonderful – very attentive and helpful. Great atmosphere and very cosy. The t bone stake was one of the best we had. Overall – great place for special occasion (as it is not cheap). Will definitely visit again!

Food was decent but not as good as we hoped. Would've liked bigger portions.

Purchased a bottle of Primitivo wine that was priced at £7/glass. When the bill came I was charged £39 for the bottle. I was told that £26 on the menu next to £7 glass price was the carafe price and the bottle price wasn’t listed on the menu. Doesn’t seem right somehow. Apart from being overcharged for a cheaper primitivo wine, fantastic service and delicious food.

Great service great food! We ordered bone marrow which was okay, fassona rib steak was amazing and the tocco pasta dish was amazing too.

Expensive for a local restaurant, does not quite reach the level it is aspiring to. Beef is very good but cooking needs to be at higher level top warrant prices. Wine list prices somewhat stretched.
