We've been to Macellaio RC many times and they definitely serve the best meat in London! They have an excellent wine list although a bit pricey compared to other restaurants in the area which makes this restaurant on the expensive side. Nevertheless it's totally worth it. Can't wait to go back again.

The Italians did not know how t make an aperol spritz and it was expensive for what was served

Salad/green leaves limp, uninteresting and embarrassingly small cost £4.50. Absolutely outrageous price! Chips ok but £4.50 for very very small portion - disgusting price. Wine ridiculously expensive. Steak very good. Waiter tried to sell too big a portion. No wonder the restaurant was so empty!! Ridiculous prices. What a shame!! The steak was good. Wouldn’t go back Unless there was a more realistic price for everything else.

Such a great place. The staff are knowledgable and very lovely! They attended to our every need, with a smile! The one in fitzrovia is a bit tight in terms of space, in fact the initial table we sat at I felt a bit squashed. Asked to move and was fine then. Good outdoor space for summer. The food is amazing. The meat is wonderful! Only thing I would say is the starters are a bit small. I had the steak tartare, I was expecting perhaps a couple of croutons on the side or something. After starter and an 800g t bone(to share with my partner)+ 3 sides, I was still a bit hungry 😬. Love the concept and would certainly recommend and go back to try the pasta!
