Really good place , and fantastic food and drink very tasty. Really good service as well. The only thing that would help is that its a small line between the tables so gets quite tight so if a bit bigger would help.

Amazing food and staff! We had Misto imperiale as starter to share and as main a succulent and perfectly cooked Fiorentina. We will be back...definitely. Great retaurant!

The food is amazing! The t-bone as a maina and the bianco al basilico as a dessert are highly recommended! I’ll come back for sure!

Simply amazing! From the attention at front desk to the last detail. Was a special occasion and they just levelled up the whole experience. High quality food and hospitality. New fav spot in town.

First off, the staff are really friendly and helpful. Vincenzo (from Puglia) is a great waiter and super attentive. Several of his colleagues were very evident too and their chemistry with customers is very authentic. I think it is weird that the staff have to wear mechanic's overalls - just plain isn't right. Much more professional for them to dress as you'd expect in a normal Italian restaurant. (The venue used to be a petrol station). I also think the odd nods to the location's former usage are a bit naff. The Macellaio in S Kensington & Wandsworth don't bother with this gimmicky approach. The steaks and the entres are reassuringly meaty and pig or cow focussed. We had the Bistecca Alla Fiorentina and it was cooked perfectly. The sides were good but the portions are quite small. Good wine list - we had a Primitivo (that Vincenzo recommended) and it paired very well with our food. Didn't have room for desserts or cheese. If you like beef/steak and want an alternative to British of American steak restaurants I would highly recommend it.

Not for vegetarians! The meat was delicious and unusual: heart, brain, liver. Seared to perfection, still juicy inside. Piquant accompaniments lifted the flavour very successfully.

Good food but restaurant cold and lacking in atmosphere. Range of starters was a bit limited. Wines delicious but very pricey. Most >£50 per bottle.

we went there for lunch and we had amazing food, amazing service and wine. the meat was juicy and perfectly cooked the wine perfectly matched our food

Excellent foods and drinks, especially, orange beer is rare in London and something to try. Staffs are all friendly and the atmosphere is very joyful. So popular and reservation is necessary.

Really enjoyed the unique ambiance retro 1950s 'Car Garrage' / artisan butchery design of this restaurant and friendliness of staff. Great value happy hodesign ur - £5 for aut the staff. Great value 'happy hour' £5 for auhentic Italian apperol spritz (more prosecco less soda in the mix). Especially enjoyed the excellent starter of capacious of beef, and steak tartar. The quality of meat is excellent and is good value for the price. Main course portion of the rump steak also very tasty but not enough on its own without having ordered starter and or additional portions as well.

Meat was under seasoned and under cooked for the medium rare I asked for. Also thought it was tough. There are much better steaks to be had in London in this evidence

Perfect lunch, fanmtastic Italian food, very good wine choice, great service, professional and smiling; This is an absolute treasure; The setting in an old pump station/ garage is great as well.

The Fiorentina steak was Really good. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff was friendly and gave good advice. We will definitely go back.

A nice menu and a good range of pricing options. The food was good and the service nice enough though a little abrupt. I think worth a visit again for a dinner to try more options

I’m concerned about the wine list which has listed magnum bottles only, And 500 ml of wine around 40£ in average... but still, amazing place

Amazing Steak which we got to choose from the butchers counter. Fantastic bottle of red wine. The service was excellent, we will definitely be returning!

Awesome steak and service. Kids enjoyed their pizzas too. The butcher doing his butchering thing out in the open was added entertainment. It’s a hip place too.

Erano anni che non mangiavo una carne così! Bel locale, ottimo il servizio. Non ho dato il massimo dei voti solo per spronare i titolari a dare maggior peso alla carta dei vini che non è al livello di eccellenza della cucina

Had a T-bone to share between 3 and some Valpolicella to wash it down - all excellent. Ambience more cafe/bistro than formal restaurant and a little annoying you can only buy some wines by glass or magnum!

The food was very good, fantastic taste and quality. There were just a few small things that let it down; the portion of spinach - when paying £5 for a side and £60 for a steak to share, it doesn’t harm anyone to make that side a decent portion, especially when it’s spinach. The salad in the Butchers Salad - whilst a small and unimportant part of the plate, the salad wasn’t fresh at all. Finally wine - why not just sell a normal sized bottle instead of a magnum or 500ml. No one likes quality wine being served out of a carafe

We came for a table of 4 and had a fantastic experience. The warm service with really good quality wines and outstanding food made a very special evening. Can’t wait to go back. Roberto Costa is a very clever man
