Design your own sushi meal – or leave the decision up to the chef – when you visit an omakase sushi bar, where the chefs prepare and serve their picks of delicious sashimi, nigiri and appetisers to you one at a time, making no compromise in taste, texture and temperature of those little gems. Such is the experience at Maki and Ramen - Fountain Bridge, a Japanese restaurant on Fountainbridge that is also famed for its hearty ramen soups and savoury teriyaki dishes. Located in the district of Fountainbridge just outside the Edinburgh city centre, this is a must-go for anyone who appreciates high-quality and authentic dining. Just remember book a table in advance.
Food sounds delicious?
Get a table before they're gone
I came in Edinburgh to visit my cousin for the weekend and we went to Maki and Ramen for dinner for the first time. We were both blown away! Amazing food - I had the salmon ramen and my cousin the vegetarian curry - they were both so delicious and huge portions!! We also loved the atmosphere, Japanese music and the tables they had in Japanese style. Lastly, the staff was amazing too - helpful, friendly, smiling and transfering to you all that positive energy! I'm so saddened though to find out that Maki and Ramen only have restaurants in Edinburgh, pleeeeeease open a few in London too!!!! You are brilliant and you should pass on that vibe and scrumptious food to us poor Londoners too. I don't feel whole without you anymore returning to London.
Fantastic sushi not tried the ramen. Recommend you book a table as it gets quite busy.
