Very good, prompt and efficient service. Good location and surroundings.

Fantastic place to have a meal. The food was great and the service was spot on,. Yes it is a little bit on the expensive side but this is central London so you should expect to pay more. I will definitely go again next time I am in London.

Turned up at midday, party of 11 which we'd booked and the restaurant door was locked. Called them, nobody answered. Waited until ten past then went somewhere else.

Super leckeres Essen mit sehr freundlichem Personal und perfektem Service. Abgerundet wurde der Abend noch durch das saubere gepflegte Ambiente und die idyllische Lage in den Docks. Wer indisches Essen liebt, kommt um das Mala nicht herum.

Was not the best experience - food was cold when first served and table not properly set. They did provide a free bottle of wine in compensation and re-cooked the food.

Wonderful experience, the view of the quay is spectacular but the range and quality of food was exceptional. The staff very attentive with plush comfy surroundings.

Food was very good, we both had Thali, mine was vegan. But the service was impersonal, it was cold in the restaurant and despite there being many empty tables we felt rushed. It wasn’t somewhere we could relax and enjoy the evening 😕

Food was nice, great location by Tower Hill and the charming St Katherine’s Wharf. Staff are happy to increase or lower spice levels in dish depending on your preference.

Food was fantastic, service was brilliant. Definitely recommend. The restaurant is in a really lovely location at St Katherine's Dock too. If we're ever back in the area, we'll be going back.

Super leckeres Essen, eine reine Geschmacksexplosion. Der Service super flink, hilfsbereit und sehr nett. Gekühlte Gläser für die Getränke und warme Teller für die Speisen ist lobenswert zu erwähnen. Gerne wieder, wenn wir in London sind.

Food was excellent, as was the service. The portions were generous, and we were well and truly sated by the end. Would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

Exceptional food and service, we enjoyed the evening thoroughly....but beware the service charge on the bill. This 12.5% charge for nothing in particular goes to the management, not the staff. Have it deleted from the bill and leave cash.

The lunch menu here is very reasonably priced and is of excellent quality. The service was attentive and we all really enjoyed our meal. We will be going back!

The food is really good, however it would be ideal if there were heaters on the table. The service is good a bit slower than usual. A few items were forgotten. The staff were good, attentive, and the waiter had nice glasses

Very good app experience. Nice staff, food was amazing and good for special nights. We were 2 and had 2 drinks/ 2starters and one main course and the bill was £50.

The service was good, although our waiter couldn’t pour our beer properly. We had the King Cobra which is poured at your table but it looked more like an ice cream than beer, perhaps a little more practice is needed. The food was excellent though! I asked how spicy a certain dish would be and the waiter described it perfectly, he was spot on, I’m so glad I ordered it! I would recommend this place and its in such nice surroundings.

The restaurant is nicely located amidst St. Kathrine’s docks. The menu is extensive and food is really delicious. We went on Friday to have dinner at 7pm and the service was friendly and quick. Can easily recommmend

Second time I've been. This time I went for the slow-cooked lamb. Every element of the dish was cooked perfectly and the spices were well balanced without being either dull or overpowering. Very nice layout and atmosphere in the restaurant too.

I live locally and have dined here many times and the service, ambience and food always excellent. If there is one thing that wasn't great this time around it was the service. Waiters took quite a while to take our order and the food a bit longer than usual to arrive.

Great place, and location. Nice ambience and excellent food. You can enjoy the sights around the tower and feel in a different world when entering this place.

My server placed my dining partner's food on the table and then dropped mine on the floor. They disappeared without apologizing or saying a word to me. My food was brought out about 10 minutes later with almost no apologies. No one asked to refill our drinks. They did not bring out the desserts that were meant to come with our meal and then we were charged for an extra meal. There are many other lovely restaurants in the area to try, I would pass on this one.

Very delicious food and cozy restaurant by St Katherines docks. The staff was nice but could have been a bit warmer and more forthcoming. We will be back again! :)

Great food and a very nice resteraunt. Will definitely go back. The service wasn't quite as good as I hoped as we were left for half an hour before we had our order taken. Would not have seemed so long if we had been asked if we wanted a drink when we first arrived. However, as I stated the food was excellent and well worth the hiccup at the start.

Food was great but the waiter was surly. Forgot some of our order and was extremely grumpy to be asked for it. No smiles whatsoever

tasty food, well served and good ambience. The restaurant was fully booked, which I booked our table through Quandoo which was very efficient which made for a fun evening.

Arrived at Mala with 3 friends and were shown our table which was situated in the front and at that time perfect for us. The manager was very accommodating when we asked to be moved due to 12 people celebrating a 'Friday' I presume sitting next to us. The food was good the service was excellent and I would recommend the restaurant and the area.
