Beautiful setting, exceptional service and beautifully cooked and presented food. I had passed many times and thought 'we must eat there - it looks so inviting', but once inside, I could not have guessed it would be so beautiful and prettily furnished. The setting, service and food is just perfect. Compliments to chef and the lovely lady who looked after us. Yes, better late than never in visiting but so very much the right choice. Highly recommended!!!! 😀👌💐♥️

Market Kitchen is a little jem and we’re already looking forward to a future visit. Nothing was too much trouble and I can only complement the small team who helped us have a very enjoyable evening.

Saw that this place had good reviews so went in with high expectations and it delivered. All the food was spot on, fresh and cooked perfectly. 2 of us went and had a 3 course meal (shared a desert) and a bottle of wine and it came to £60. Will be back soon.

Food good quality and well cooked. But ordered trout but got salmon. Main course served in a shallow bowl, should have been a plate. Service very good as was atmosphere.

Market Kitchen is just a quality restaurant. Been here a few times and always found it to be a great evening. Most importantly, the food is always excellent.

Picked this restaurant from the reviews and we were not disappointed. The food, drink and service were all excellent, we started with the bread to share and the butter was so lovely, then we had the chicken and lamb respectively and then a very indulgent dessert which tasted like plum duff topped with chocolate! A special mention for the lovely girl front of house who managed all the tables with a smile and chat for everyone. If we are ever back in the area - we will be sure to dine here again.

The whole experience was lovely start to finish, great selection of French wine, food was great too, service topped it all off. Lovely small honest restaurant serving great food and wine at lower than expected prices!
