For over two decades, proprietors Abdul and Amina have been working in the local restaurant scene. Back in 2012, the couple established Meimo in the centre of town with an aim to serve real Moroccan cuisine to locals looking to experience North African flavours with a touch of Mediterranean flair. So far, they’ve been incredibly successful, with Meimo on Peascod Road quickly becoming one of Windsor’s most talked-about dining establishments. Also available for private dining, Meimo is an excellent venue for your next gathering or celebration.
Meimo offers diners an array of mezze, plus plenty of mains, brochette, burgers and tagines. We recommend mixing and matching a couple of the small plates to start off – choose from aubergine zaalou, merguez, hummus or chicken livers, just to name a few. As for the main course, you can’t go wrong with the Meimo burgers, made using your choice of a hand-formed beef patty or butterfly chicken fillet, topped with ingredients like grilled tomato,melted goat cheese, onion jam or cheddar. Seafood options like the grilled sea bass or salmon are also tasty options, and there’s even a kids’ menu for the little ones.
