Melange - Barnet

Great food & excellent service. Will gladly return. My only criticism is that the restaurant walls are all hard-surfaces so it's quite loud when full - hard to hear the person sitting opposite me speak!

The food was good - reasonably priced, varied menu , friendly staff but the only drawback is that it is very loud. 2nd visit and would go back

The staff are very friendly, without being overbearing, and took great care to accommodate our dietary requirements. I felt like a valued customer. The food is very good!

This restaurant always delivers quality food to the table, the steak is so good. Highly recommended and prices are very good value. Staff can't do enough for you.

Great variety on menu all dishes tasted were as described on menu and enjoyed. No food allergy menu available but advice given by waiter, soup, steak and chips and chocolate mousse all GF.

Having visited Melange Barnet for the first time last evening, we were very impressed by the quality of the food, the relaxing ambience and the friendly staff. My husband, our 1 year old daughter and I had a lovely occasion. Thank you.

This restaurant is very nice, I had prawns to start and for my main fish stew, it was delicious. Reason for not giving 6 stars. I ordered a cocktail instead of a dessert and they would not serve me as it was past 11pm. I think they need to let customers know when last orders is. Only I was looking forward to that.

Great food, good choice on the set menu, good ambience, a bit noisy at first but Barnet residents go to bed early, so crowd thinned by 9pm. No background music - hurrah! Waitress Anna was a delight. We'll be back.

Nice atmosphere, attentive staff. Fair range of French / Italian dishes from menu. Staff made a mistake on the bill (that''s why not given rating of 6) but apologetic and had it quickly corrected. Will definitely return and recommend.

It was fantastic from great food to service everything was implacable. Just loved it. It was our first visit was a great experience. Value for money.

Great local. Good value set menu mid week. Lovely tastes. Reliable & varied options. Attentive service. We enjoyed bruschetta & beetroot salad to start & fish pie & duck confit mains. Recommended.

We were initially shown to a table in the rear area, near the toilets and the kitchen door, and between two large groups. However, we asked to be moved and the restaurant was happy to oblige. Thereafter, the service was good and we enjoyed our meal. It's not cheap, but the food was spot on.

Sorry but a stringy starter, very disappointed, main course was tasty but not well presented, service automatically taken, a lovely touch though was free water

Very good meal with friendly, helpful service. Courses were served without undue delay. The ambience of the restaurant is pleasing with reasonable space between the tables.

Breakfast was lovely, but it could have been perfect if the crockery was warmed so the food was a bit hotter when we got it.

NIce friendly restaurant in Barnet. First time I've visited this branch of Melange having been to the one in Crouch End a few times. The food and service was very good, would go back next time I'm in the area.

I have been to Melange in Barnet on a number of occasions and have always found the food and service to be excellent. A varied menu with dishes cooked to perfection. I really cannot fault the restaurant.

The food is high quality, the choice of dishes is good & the service is friendly & efficient. Eating lunch or dinner at Melange is a most enjoyable experience.

Atmosphere is great - a full restaurant on a Wednesday evening does tell you that it must be good! Service was good and food excellent.

Cannot fault service & food. Deducted 1 point as there was an unpleasant odour (either from drains or kitchen) near our table (rear of restaurant)

Toooo loud. Made a mess of our main course order. Never showed up to take the order for desserts. So we went! Might try again for a lunch.

Fast service good food great prices nice ambience . A Mix of French and Italian food with a mixture of wines from both countries on the menu . Would recommend this lovely local restaurant.

this is the best place to eat in Barnet. The food is amazing and the ambience perfect. I take my triplets there and the staff are very child friendly and accomodating. I just got back from steak night for two there and it was amazing as always.

There was an Interesting menu. The food came in good time and was well cooked and presented. The service was good and the staff very pleasant.. An enjoyable experience.

The Food at Melange was great, absolutely wonderful. The service was great, No dark Rum !!!, a little disappointed, but not a show stopper. The only real problem was the table, the table was tiny so small that our meals could not fit on it. They had to remove the water and several other items to fit the food on !!!!
