Excellent breakfast & service & staff were following Covid hygiene arrangements.

Always consistently lovely food and lovely service. I hope they will be in Barnet for a long time to come!

Lovely food, great service. A great reintroduction to going out!

Went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Awaiting us was petals on table and a pre-ordered bottle of champagne. All organised by our children. The whole evening was wonderful. Plenty of space and good social distancing by staff and customers.

Lovely stylish restaurant, amazing food and the waiter was exceptional. My one criticism, was there was no time for a breather between our starters and main meal! As soon as we finished our starter we were given our meal! But overall fab.

Lovely first meal out after lockdown eased celebrating my son’s birthday. Hand sanitiser as you go in but no one enforces it. Surprised to see staff not wearing masks though? Busy evening for a Tuesday and food was lovely and generous portions.

My daughter and I went for a meal to celebrate my birthday. The prawns we had as our starter were superb and rib eye steak cooked to perfection. Was great to be back after lockdown.

Revised menu. No daily specials but food as good as usual. As just reopened staff say that the daily specials will be added shortly. Tables spaced out which is better as not on top of each other.

We enjoyed our first unlockdown meal out on Super Saturday. Portion size was good, staff very friendly. Overall social distancing was adhered to and all quite relaxed. It was lively and got busy, which was nice if you are looking for a great atmosphere. Food was all good except that the ribeye steak was oversalted. Pretty impressed with the team overall. Thank you for a great evening.

Fairly busy Sunday inch. Friendly staff. Unfortunately we were only given the main menu and not the specials. We didn’t realise until another table were given the specials but by then we had ordered. We did take a look and there were a couple of things we may have opted for but it wasn’t a problem. Shared starter of the meat antipasti which was lovely and main courses of pork belly and beef bourguinon both of which were lovely and a very reasonable portion. No dessert as we were too full. Hadn’t been to melange for some time for no reason but will definitely be returning soon.

Good food, good service, good atmosphere and value for money.

melange is one of my fave places to eat. The prices are good for the quality of the food and there are some excellent fish dishes on the menu too. I love their fish stew. The staff are friendly and cocktails are great.

Absolutely delicious food. I had roast half chicken with sage and a creamy sauce. Faultless, are every morsel. Really recommend this restaurant.
