One of the best meals we have had, amazing food!!

First time visit - food, atmosphere and service excellent- will definitely be returning!

All plates special and tasty . A bit on the expensive side but worth it.

Mélange serves good food - in quite large portions in the case of the starters! - at very reasonable prices. The service is friendly and fast. We're lucky to have it as a local restaurant.

Been to the restaurant a few weeks back when we moved to the area. This 2nd visit was disappointing mainly because the staff were not trained and lacked basic waitering experience.

Went there for a valentine day meal had three course all three were delicious delivered with a lovely service can’t be faulted. Very nice atmosphere just great all round

Lovely people and surroundings but not a single option for a vegan. Portions fairly small but perfectly cooked. only one alcoholic drink and bill came to over £90 so definitely not somewhere you can go to frequently... Chose a valentine booking and there wasn't a single side dish included in the price, so literally a fish or meat dish with no veg on the side ...

We had a lovely meal at melange. The food was excellent food And the service was very good. Restaurant was busy so there was a really good atmosphere.

The food was enjoyable but the toilets were out of order and we were told to use KFC next door.... not sure this is so acceptable. They also ran out of their special by 8:00pm. The food was expensive but was quite tasty.

Excellent service but the tables are too close together, the party behind kept knocking my chair. Delicious cannelloni, great wine list however the beef bourguignon was disappointing.

Steak excellent. Creme brûlée first class. Aperol spritz lovely. Restaurant manager and staff in general very helpful and friendly. Would definitely visit again. Well done.

Good food, a warm and friendly welcome. Our group of 6 all chose the "steak & chips" special, and we almost thought it was excellent, will go back again...

As soon as we sat, we were told the dishes of the day very quickly which we forgot by the time we got the menu. The waitress was not friendly from beginning to start. We ordered from the evening set menu The food was like nouvelle cuisine, nicely presented but the portions are very small. Wouldn't go back.

A delicious meal at a reasonable price. The highlight from the Christmas set menu was the sea bream salad - beautifully cooked and a really well-judged combination of flavours and textures.

Great food and service. One of our party requires gluten free and we were very impressed they had gluten free bread to accompany her starter. Also great value with steak for 2 and bottle of wine Deal. Highly recommended.

We had the 2 course menu which is an extremely good deal. I had generous portion of duck rilliettes with sour dough toast as a starter and my friend had the soup which she said was delicious. We both had sea bream as a main course which came with potatoes and a very tasty salad. The portion of fish was quite small but understandable as bream is an expensive fish. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and not too noisy so you can have a conversation as well as eat. Wine was a good price, I had a large glass of organic wine which I was very pleased to see on the menu . All in all a relaxed evening of good food ,not being deafened by either music or ambient noise and helpful friendly staff. I would have no hesitation recommending Melange.

Another enjoyable visit last night to Melange, you can also count on Delicious well cooked food, helpful & polite staff in a relaxed environment. A great menu with something for everyone.

Enjoyed a secluded table at the back and met up with some old friends. Friend was on the Keto diet and she loved her salad Niciose. They also took the replaced the chicken with haloumi for my other friend who is vegetarian. Great food and very accommodating.

Never had a bad meal here. Steaks are a highlight. I had the Roquefort salad which was good though lacking in hazelnuts. The lemon sole was a nice piece of fish but there was no buttery dressing and very few capers so I had to ask for some tartare on the side. Would like to see a few more green veg options on the menu like some spinach or tender stem broccoli, the pecan pie was delicious. Lovely organic Viognier. Very attentive service.

Lovely Monday evening in Melange. Lovely cocktails and reasonably priced Xmas menu £16.50 for 2 courses. Food lovely as usual and great atmosphere as fairly busy for a Monday.

I had Sunday lunch in Melange with 2 friends and it was excellent, The food was wonderful and the staff very friendly and attentive, I hope they do the delicious venison again!

Food was just fab tonight and the service was efficient but not in your face, friendly and we can’t wait to go back! Great buzz in the restaurant as well - we ate early this time but the restaurant had a great buzz with families, dates and friends all appearing to be enjoying it!

We went on a Monday evening hoping the that it wasn’t the chef’s night off. If it was we could not tell. Great food and good service ! Made us feel very comfortable

Had a lovely meal here with family and friends. The restaurant was busy and had a nice and buzzy atmosphere. We all enjoyed our meals from steak to vegetarian options. The service was very good. Would highly recommend it.

The starter was very nice but the fishcake was made with under cooked lumpy potatoes so most of it was inedible. My friends steak was good.

Melange never disappoints with their fabulous menu, lovely atmosphere, great service, fine wines and fabulous cocktails. We just keep on going back and love to support this local treasure.

Lovely food. Atmosphere really nice. A bit loud but that was fine for us. Maybe some would find it too noisy but we were ok with it. Would def go back again.

Nice place to meet for a week day catch up and the menu was lovely my only grumble would be that the salmon I ordered was overcooked and dry.

Food and service was excellent, atmosphere was good, only disappointment was the fact that we had to pay by cash because credit/debit card facilities were not working. However staff did phone beforehand to make me aware which was good.
