Food was good, waiting time and service was a bit slow. nice athmosphere but a bit cramped.

Excellent food and kind service and a brilliant value set menu served right from 12-5 with plentiful options to appease every diner. Will try other branches

Good food, good atmosphere and good service. It was a putty (and incredible) there were so few people. The good thing is that it was very quiet

Second visit and still impressed with the ambience and welcoming and helpful staff. Very good and varied menu covering both Italian and French. Would definitely recommend visiting.

Delicious food and friendly service. We went on Thursday steak night and the rib eyes were fantastic. Music rather suspect though - didn't fit in with the environment at all.

We had a great dinner at Melange. Our starters and main dishes tasted really well - surrounded by an enjoyable atmosphere as well as a very friendly service.

I was brilliantly well looked after at Melange after calling in on a whim in the middle of the afternoon. The flexible lunch hours of 11-5 with the set menu served provide diners with a real valuable option with quality food for 2/3 courses. The a la carte menu looks intriguing too so I will be back to sample this. The care and attention and generosity shown to me was of such a high level that you leave feeling as special as the food.

Great service, wonderful food, stylish setting and a really pleasant atmosphere. We have eaten there at least 4 times and would recommend the Belsize Melange to anyone

Service fine but a bit slow. Starters were fine but long time for mains to arrive - main course sauce too thin and fish (one ok, one overcooked and one undercooked).

The place was lovely and the service really nice. The food was good too. We had a pleasant experience overall. I would definitely recommend it.

overall, we enjoyed dinner at Melange - Belsize Park yesterday evening. there were one or two issues we were not happy about. the welcome was friendly. the food was excellent but we were not happy with the service. we ordered two glasses of wine, but it did not come for sometime so we had to remind them. there was no one in the bar. you need one person in the bar. the waitresses cannot take the order, serve other customers and on top of it all, deal with the drinks. there were only two staff and the restaurant was almost full. only one table was empty. for mains, we had ordered Risotto, which was really good, but when it came, there was no serving spoon to go with it, so we asked one of the waitress and waited but in the end we just took it with our fork. they need some experienced staff there if they want their customers to return.

Lovely atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food. What's not to like? We will return again and again to this delightful restaurant. Top marks from us.

Top marks for excellent service, quality of the food, and the general ambience. I particularly appreciated the low volume music and no dimming of the lights. Altogether a memorable experience and I shall certainly come here again.

Excellent, we always visit this restaurant when we are in Belsize Park. We always have the same member of staff look after us and she is lovely, very polite and efficient. The food and wine are really good, and always the same standard.

Lovely food and nice service. From a personal view it would be helpful to have allergens listed on the menu. All in all very nice and we will return.

Excellent food, as always, at Melange. The scallops were cooked to perfection,the fillet steak was tender and accompanied by a fresh salad. My partners ravioli was also very tasty.

Not too noisy a restaurant so it was great to be able to talk to our friends across the table without struggling to hear! Food was good (particularly the lamb chops!) The staff were very attentive and obliging and it was a lovely evening

Great place and great food with amazing staff and great location - very near Belsize Park tube. And prices too. Melange has it all. Will go back soon

No problem with the food or ambiance but found it a bit disquieting to find no one to welcome us on arrival. We had nice service from the young lady who served us. We will happily return.

Very good food, definitely try the French toast! Service is good although the place wasn’t very busy. Reasonable pricing too. Must try, in my opinion!

Melange has a gorgeous atmosphere, lots delicious choices and reasonably priced for excellent food. Beautiful decor makes for a cosy local treat for romantic dates or special family occasions.

Food was good but need to tighten up on service. Food kept coming at different times some where eating when others had finished. Cocktails were lovely!!

Food was excellent tonight. Hors d’oeuvres were imaginative, my duck was delicious.Vegetables were very well cooked and the service was friendly, efficient and helpful. A very good evening!

A comfortable restaurant with enough soft furnishing to dampen the noise which so often spoils meals in other restaurants. I was surprised that a waiter in a French/Italian restaurant did not know the term "à point". The food and service were above average

Lovely evening. Super staff, great food and an excellent jazz duo (singer and guitarist) Nell Greco and Harry Diplock, creating a relaxed atmosphere with music you could choose to listen to, but didn’t impose.

Nice decor, great service, and best of all fresh, home-cooked food. Not haute cuisine, but honest , tasty and the set menu is great value.

Generous portions of well cooked food. Staff are friendly and attentive and this is certainly a good option in an area not blessed with good restaurants. Worth a visit.

V lovely service. Great value for set dinner - had brie and sea trout. Both v good. Trout was impressively fresh. Cocktails were a little amateur, as mine had slice of chilli with seeds and all floating in it! And special wine list - v good, but I ordered 2014 Macon and 2015 was presented to me - a year can make a large difference in a wine, but the girl didn't seem to know what I was querying and I didn't make a fuss as had friend with me. But overall a v good experience.

Great new restaurant - food was tasty and staff very welcoming. My cassoulet was perfect for a cold winter's evening and the rest of the party also enjoyed their food.

We went to Melange with friends for dinner last Saturday evening. The food was very good, particularly the seafood spaghetti with generous and fresh seafood. The pork belly was gorgeous but a little heavy for an evening so would choose It again but for lunch. The scallops were also decliciois. Service was very good, attentive at the right times. We would definitely go again.

A lovely new neighbourhood restaurant. The food is genuinely flavoursome and every one was more than happy with their main course. The fried calamari is highly recommended...
