Amazing experience and genuinely the best curry I have had in years! Highly recommend the Ostrich starter and the King Prawns are huge. Amazing flavours and top class service from the moment we opened the door.

Best curry ever. Visited on Diwali and were treated very well and had the special menu. Highly recommended. It was very busy but the service and food were great.

We made a late reservation mid-week. The food was stunning, beautiful atmosphere and service impeccable. An array of options with delicious specials and surprisingly, a good range of wine. We will definitely dine here again.

Excellent experience with attentive service, food is of the highest quality. I did however find my starter the King Prawn was served with one less than last time.

Great food, high quality and beautifully cooked. The service was good, considerate and patient but some of the waiters were a little clueless at times.

An amazing evening and incredible food. The dessert they gave us for my boyfriend’s birthday was lovely...and apparently he’s never had saag aloo that good.

18th Birthday party and stuck in a crappy corner next to the toilets. No sparkler and cake like other celebrations were having. Poor food quality won’t be going back and spending my money here again

We had the early evening fixed price menu and it was excellent as usual. Great service, our waiter kept track of the time to ensure we were at the theatre on time.

Great food and atmosphere, highly recommend. Have visited 3 times now, and each time food is great and consistent. Service was attentive, recommend saving space for desserts!

The location and atmosphere of Memsaab is really great. The food was delicious and a step up from a traditional UK Indian restaurant. Can't recommend highly enough.

Brilliant and amazing food again. We would like to see a different style of meat on the Sigri (grilled) Selection (for 2) Lamb Chops, Boti Padina and Reshmi Kebab as the Boti Padina was too much of the same style of lamb after lamb chops were served with the same dish. A minced lamb kebab would be better and I'm sure it was this in the previous menu. Keema peas is the best here and even the pilau rice is amazing. Will be back again and we'll worth the money! :D

Lovely restaurant with friendly staff. We arrived late for our meal after going to a concert, and were told the Chef had gone home, which was understandable, but later the guy came running after us and said the Chef would stay on and cook us a meal. We were really impressed and had a lovely meal.

Excellent service and amazing aesthetics as well as the food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially those looking for a romantic setting. Excellent night.

We have eaten here many times....it is consistently brilliant! Amita and her team work wonders day in, day out! Cannot recommend more highly than absolutely outstanding in every respect.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the food was amazing and not even that expensive so i really would recommend to anyone looking for a quality Indian or just a great meal and experience!

Restaurant is beautiful, Food is amazing and even a birthday treat for my lovely Lynne Would recommend this restaurant. It’s up there with best I’ve visited, and will definitely be going back in the not to distant future

Great food, atmosphere and service, wish we tried more items from the menu! One mark off just because table was not ready when we arrived, but we had drinks from the bar while we waited, so all good!

Friendly, helpful, deferential staff. Delicious food Good atmosphere and ambience. We now live in the soft South so a little surprised to find a restaurant of this quality in Nottingham - my place of birth. Overall v. good.

Completely wonderful experience. From the welcome and table to the excellent menu. The food is superbly prepared, cooked and presented. The table service is instant without the waiters hovering. My wife and I loved it and will make it a regular venue when we visit Nottingham.

Once again Food was delicious, staff are very friendly and helpful delivering a fantastic service! Very reasonably priced for quality food , couldn’t recommend enough. Mem Saab is up there with one of our most favourite restaurants.

Lovely atmosphere ,the start is very good and feel well looked after ,food excellent .choice of food is good presentation excellent.its one of our favourite restaurants.

Greeting was just ok. Asked to wait and take a seat but nowhere to sit! Not asked if we would like a drink while we waited. Food was very good service was ok not great

Great restaurant. Different choices to what a typical Indian restaurant might offer, such as venison and ostrich! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was great. All in all a fantastic place to visit and eat.

We dined at MemSaab on Thursday 30th August. The food was just wonderful with service to match. I had come across the name before via the MemSaab stand at the Nottingham Splendour festival. This however was my first visit to the restaurant, I will definitely return. Thank you for a great evening.

First time visit to men Saab after hearing great reviews from family members. From walking in and sitting down we were looked after attentively by the staff and nothing was too much bother. The food was excellent and presented v well Can’t wait for an excuse to come back again +++++

It’s was a very busy night so service was understandably a little slow. Food could have been hotter (heat wise) Overall a nice evening & I would definitely go back. I did think it was a little expensive. Staff wise, extremely polite & friendly.

Lovely reception and we really enjoyed the food. Not too fast not too slow. It was our wedding anniversary and we were give a sparkly cake to share. Will definitely go again.

Fabulous evening. The food was great; certainly lived up to the advance billing. Service equally good, very pleasant and easy going staff who coped very well considering the restaurant was very busy. Will certainly go back when next in Nottingham.

We were provided with Great service throughout the night , polite staff who made sure we were always informed and very tasty food and drinks

Returned yet again with friends. Great service, choices of food and chef's specials and well priced wines/ lagers. Superbly made curries with true depth of flavour. One special was disappointing though with little and stringy lamb. Small bill reduction as limited gesture.

Pre booked table not ready. Left waiting for table. Both lamb dishes over salty too. Because we were late dining it totally spoilt our dining experience with friends. We had booked transport as we don’t live locally. Disappointed.

Excellent tasting food and wonderful, attentive service. Not cheap, but one of the best Indian meals you will ever have. We particularly liked the peshwari naan.
