Great food, attentive staff, prompt service - a pleasure to visit

Been wanting to try Merienda for a while now. Was not disappointed. Great food and wine selection and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely go back when next in Keswick.

Friendly staff and tasty food. The chocolate fondue was amazing!!!

The food was OK though I didn't feel there was enough variety, or not much that I was that interested in. The restaurant was quite cod, we were sat with our coats on and the toilets very awkwardly placed, right next to the toilet and like an ice block. It's a shame because lunches are lovely here, not sure that I'd choose to go here for dinner again.

came to lakes for weekend with 5 friends.. Merienda was lovely food and service was prompt but the overall bill was very overpriced so most likely won’t retyrn

Lovely place in town opposite moot hall. Friendly good food and not expensive - definitely worth a visit. Specials board for additional choice - try the pork and chorizo meatballs! Nom!

The atmosphere was Nice and chilled. Food was really good and the service was fast. Will definitely go again and will recommend to family and friends.

Delicious, fresh and impeccably cooked food with simple but perfectly complimenting wine options. Warm, cosy cafe feel, relaxed but attentive serving. Priced appropriately. Can’t wait to go again.

We eat here every time we visit Keswick. The food is consistently good, the staff always very friendly and we can bring our dog along too.

Dinner with friends was well catered for, choice of food was varied and exciting, staff were, as ever, excellent! A very enjoyable experience for our group of twelve, thank you!

Both the food and service were excellent. The carafe of water with mint in it was a nice touch and we were offered a 10% discount next time we visit. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere good service and good food. The candles set the scene and the menus is a bit different. The lamb mint burgers (the days special) were excellent.

Amazing food and great customer service from the man behind the bar- less so from the two women who spent their time chatting then stood right in front of our table laughing loudly with some men who popped in for a chat. Maybe think what this is like as a customer experience... however the food was excellent, the overall experience, less so

Fabulous food, friendly and excellent service. Beer offering could be more extensive however it did not disappoint any members of the party during the evening. Menu choice is spot on and would suggest offering a sharing platter as a starter a good addition.

Food here is always fantastic. We come every time we’re in town. Love the fact that dogs are allowed. Great, relaxed atmosphere and swift service.

Interesting menu, food delicious, price reasonable, room cheery. Good spot both for lunchtime snack or supper in the evening. Fills quickly, best to book, especially in summer.

Great service. Speedy but without feeling that they were wanting your table. Delicious food. The pork wontons for starter were nice but a little over cooked for me. Scrumptious desserts and really enjoyed my lamb burger from the specials board. Will definitely be back

Excellent service and friendly staff. Interesting menu. No chips here! Mains of meatballs and corn fritters. Only criticism could have been more meatballs. Desserts were only ok. Quite dry sticky toffee pudding and the meringue on the posset was not homemade.

Very tasty food served by friendly cheerful staff. Tables a little small as the premises operate as a cafe during the day. Trout particularly good. Tasted very fresh.

The restaurant was quaint and had a high number of clientel. The staff were very polite and the food was excellent and served without significant delay.

Food was amazing, always is and it didn't disappoint this time!! I can personally recommend the tempura prawn tacos to start. Amazing. Lovely atmosphere and better food.

Have eaten here on numerous occasions so an easy choice for supper. Installation of the cake stall means the downstairs seating is cramped. Almost sitting on the lap of the person next to us and they were on a different table. Suffice to say that your entire conversation will be heard by two other couples... take a table out!!! Food was up to expectation as was the Malbec. Will definitely book again out of season, but will now avoid at busy times purely for seating arrangements - sorry!

The second time we've visited - still serving very tasty food in a pleasant informal atmosphere. The service is excellent. Recommend the caramelised lemon posset.

Lovely restuarant for great food Our 3rd visit and as usual fantastic food great atmosphere and staff so helpful. Definately recommend for a special meal and well priced.

Thought it was expensive for style and quality of food. All seemed pretty prepared and just assembled to serve. Wouldn't go out of our way to go again.

Great cafe in the day and restaurant in the evening. Lovely food. The Victoria sponge is to die for. So light. Can't wait to go back.
