Loverly food will be returning soon. Good Choice of food and kids menu was OK bit of choice for them. My only point is food wasn't all brought together for everyone.. there was a wait for other people in our party. But over all. Was good.

We had a great first visit to Mexican Village. The food and staff were both excellent. The staff are attentive without being overbearing and the Nachos starter is the best I have had in any restraurant so far. The restraurant itself is spotless and the decor is lovely. We will definitely be returning and taking friends and family next time too.

Nice place to sit and eat. You wait a while for your starter. I ordered steak for main and even though I asked for it to be well done, I couldn't even eat it because it was cremated. Other than that the staff are lovely, would return again however would not get the steak.

Great place to eat. I've been here a few times now and never left dissapointted. Choice of food is great and the service matches! I'll be back soon.

Nice food and place to eat but far too pricey for the quality e.g frozen wedges and fries rather than fresh. Would consider going back if improvements are made to the menu.

We had a very good experience and I am glad that we eventually managed to book a table Staff friendly and food vvv good. Will definately book again.

This was our second visit and it didn't disappoint. Service was very good and the food was excellent. The menu is very good with lots of choice. Unfortunately we were too full to order desserts or any of the delicious sounding cocktails.

Nice relaxing ambiance. Very tasty food, my husband had a T-Bone steak and said it was the tastiest one he's ever eaten. Staff are nice and friendly and very attentive.

Excellent food and brilliant staff lots of choice even for those picky eaters we will definitely be returning in the future the cocktails looked fab too

There portions are very big, lovely food, excellent service, would definitely recommend this, gets really busy so better to book, looking forward to our next visit

Childrens starters came out first with an apology and an assurance of a 5 minute wait. 20 minutes later our starters came. Main was over cooked chewed and rice was cold. We were the only customers in there so should have been perfect. 20% off Bill but would have preferred to enjoy meal

Lovely restaurant in the heart of west derby village with pleasant friendly quick service and spicy delicious food always big portions and great value for money. A+

Excellent food excellent service would have been a 6 but no draught lager or beer offer and bottles were a bit pricey at £4 per and also got charged £1 for drop of soda in wine

Our first visit, very pleasant experience, nice food, reasonably priced,bit of a mix up with the bill, but nothing serious, would have been nice to have had our prosecco automatically served in an ice bucket.

Food is amazing, staff are very polite and friendly, don't rush you along. Clean eatery and overall nice place to eat. Second time we have visited and will definitely be going back

Once again great meal at the mexican village. Good value for money and fantastic service. I would recommend to anyone for a lovely evening out. This place is great for families for an early evening dinner or a quiet meal with your other half.

Me and my friebds visit this restaurant on a regular basis, it is by far the best Mexican in Liverpool. Excellent food and great service!

Great service scrumptious dinner tasty would recommend to anyone. Small little restaurant feels comfortable just enough to make it a cosy surrounding. Able to see chefs waitresses very friendly a good experience.

Its a quaint little restaurant directly opposite to the Hare & Hounds pub in West Derby Village. Its small inside and there are a couple of tables outside. The food is freshly cooked with good sized portions and was lovely. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes authentic Mexican food. My son doesn't and he had a 12oz rump steak with pepper sauce and again it was cooked to perfection. A little hidden gem :)

Been to The Mexican Village on several occasions. Food always tasty and authentic , staff very pleasant and helpful. My only criticism would be the bottled beer is pricey at £4.

We love it here food is amazingly, it's always hot and the staff are so friendly and polite , they do amazing cocktails and it's a very clean place would Deffo go again 😊

Lovely little place to eat, good atmosphere with helpful staff. The food was amazing especially the chimichanga, would Highly recommend that you try this place

Fast efficient service, a little too fast felt like we were being herded through. Very little atmosphere, food was ok although a mish mash of cuisines, French, Spanish and Mexican. Salad was delicious.

We had Fab food and the atmosphere was great, the waiting staff were fab too. My only complaint the portions were too BIG! Defo go again.

Third visit to Mexican village, food excellent, excellent service from very attentive staff. This restaurant is well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed. Looking forward to our next visit.

Booked a nline but didnt have preferred timeslot available so had to book earlier table. Turned up and restaurant was empty for most of the time we were there, only started to have more custom when we left. So disappointed we couldnt have had prefered time. Also some of the food was bland. Would expect more flavour being that its mexican! Overall it was okay.

Lovely atmosphere great friendly staff beautiful food large portions will definitely be going again really soon a great choice on the menu no beer on draft just bottles but great choice

Great atmosphere, tasty, good food at reasonable prices. Very pleasant staff who were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. My only complaint is that I was very full & didn't have any room for a pudding. I would visit again. Heather

Food was lovely, although restaurant was cramped too loud to hear conversation and we had two girls with children that kept banging the backs of our chairs! Rushed food to get out.
