Mimosa Aldershot is a paradox. The food and drink on offer are fine for what they are: "cheap and cheerful" pan-Asian buffet food with a drinks menu in line with the customer base. The decor (all hard surfaces) makes noise levels higher than they would be if more absorbent materials were used. The staff are almost never able to deal with drinks orders more complex than anything on the menu. A request for a double whisky with Diet Coke had to be explained thrice to the server, who returned twice thereafter to check what was meant - thus, five explanations in all. Thus, a bit of a mixed bag.

We went on a Saturday afternoon, It was great to meet up with friends and we were able to talk and relax with no pressure to leave once we had finished eating as it wasn’t that busy

Food was tasty, plenty of choice available. Staff were slow to get any drinks orders, but overall a nice option before the cinema.

Really enjoyed the meal. Bit noisy but guess not alot you can do about that. Enjoyable experience.

I have visited this restaurant many times before but this time the food was not nice. Very disappointed with the quality of food and the varieties of food was limited for the price. I don't think i will go here again.

We were a group of 17 in a self-service restaurant (mostly empty) and had to pay a service charge of nearly £30. Im happy to pay for service if its good but its self-service!

Good, fresh food. Lots of choice, great for picky kids to see before they try. My only slight complaint was that the sweets were too sweet ie the mouses, panacota and cheesecake that I tried. Other than that, the staff were friendly and helpful and overall the food quality was very good

We had a table for 12 adults and 3 chILdren . The service was excellent. We didn't feel rushed at all. Very friendly and curtious staff. Food good value. This is our second visit as a family and will be back.

A party of 13 of us enjoyed a super time and delicious food at Mimosa Aldershot on Tuesday Lunch time. Without exception we will all consider going again. Very good value for money. Keep it going.

Food very dry and sauces all waterd down cake very dry will not be returning for that money

Soup was cold food was great disappointed with the puddings and had to ask for my gin and tonic to be put in a proper glass as it came I noticed a tumbler! Food very good

Staff was not working well. Bad customer service. They were chatting with each other don’t pay attention to customers.

Not as good as it used to be. Food was ok but cold. Coke was flat.

We eat here fairly regularly and usually can’t fault the service/food. However tonight, there were many dishes not replenished despite us asking (duck, prawn crackers, melon, vanilla ice cream). We asked 3 different waitresses for a jug of water for the table and it finally arrived as we were starting our desserts. The final straw that broke the camel’s back was to see the bill over £10 more than we expected. Beware.....they are now adding a service charge on for parties of 5 people or more. Apparently you can ask for this to be removed, but I wonder how many people will check the bill that carefully.

This restaurant is excellent the booking was straight forward the staff are lovely people and the food is amazing highly recommended

Although I had warned the restaurant I was a coeliac and couldn’t eat gluten, there was very little I could eat. The last time I had visited Mimosa, a chef took me around all the dishes and pointed out all the ones I could eat, things couldn’t have been more different

It was ok, but after visiting other similar buffets it was disappointing. The food needs to be refreshed quicker, and more selection. Only given 1 an half hour to eat and some dishes took awhile to come back out. Staff were friendly and tables were cleared fast, but unfortunately don’t think we will return.

We’ve been visiting this same restaurant for 3/4 years now. The staff are always friendly and welcome. There is never too much of wait to be seated, the food is always hot and fresh. We love it
