Very attentive staff who looked after us and ensured we were finished ahead of the theatre time. Food and wine were very tasty, will definitely be coming back!

I went to Miz en Bouche on a Friday evening: Great food, great service ! So good that I decided to go back the next week with others friends :)

All the staff were incredibly friendly, positive, and thoughtful. The food was beautifully presented, and excellently cooked. The ambience is one of intimacy, like being at home.

Amazing French food, wine and service, out visit was also full of great characters as well! Will definitely eat here again and recommend to friends

Small but lovely venue situated very conveniently for Sadler's Wells if, like us, you're after a pre- theatre dinner. Food was good, service was a little behind the pace but this was understood by the staff and they worked very hard to make amends. Would definitely go back.

Warm welcome at this charming French bistro near Saddlers Wells Theatre. Chose one of three starters on Special of the Day menu at 6.00pm only to be told that the chef had changed his mind and I was offered an avocado salad instead. When our starters arrived it was a smoked chicken salad, which was lovely, but a bit odd since I was having the chicken and chips as a main course! Tarte Tatin for dessert really good.

I shared lunch with a work colleague in Miz en Bouche today and was very pleased to find that the quality of the food, friendly professionalism of the staff and overall ambience were all as excellent as they had been in my previous visits. The place is quite small, which means you really feel you're getting personal service throughout and the atmosphere is about as close as you can get in central London to that of a small French restaurant. Between us we had chicken livers, duck, entrecote steak and crème brulee (finished with coffee) and all were freshly cooked, nicely presented and delicately flavoured. Thoroughly recommended.

Good for pre saddler swells theatre. Small and nice atmosphere. Food ok but not great. Nice friendly staff who will do anything to help you

Excellent Angus steak burger. The service was a little rushed as they were busy over lunchtime, but were very friendly and helpful. Will be back!

A happy after-theatre experience. We only had one course but the friendly and helpful service and delicious food, beautifully presented, as well as the large table made us want to come again soon.

Had a lovely meal from the pre theatre menu and there was a good selection on the main menu. The service was excellent, friendly, welcoming and attentive.

Delicious brulee and cheese. Excellent use of a small space and charming staff. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Highly recommend for a pre-theatre meal. Will certainly revisit.

Great service, good food. The restaurant is really cute as my girlfriend put it, and nice relaxed feel. My starter was absolutely delicious, which considering it was vegetarian is quite extraordinary for me!

Lovely duck confit with cassoulet, and tasty starters, all served efficiently as we had to rush to get to the theatre, we made it with time to spare, thank you!

The "côte de bœuf pour deux" was excellent. It is a very nice place to dine, and the service was very good. We will be back!

Fantastic service and lovely food. We had the entrecôte steak, which was perfectly cooked and they were very accommodating about changing the chips to potatoes. Service is impeccable, very quick and really friendly

Well cooked classics and not so classics. Great service. Nothing over complex and reasonable prices. Nice warm atmosphere even when mostly empty. I had the standard menu. She had the full English and said it was the best one she ever had ... !

Lovely atmosphere food was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone it's in a brilliant location right by Angel station there's plenty to do after.

We visited for an early pre-theatre dinner. The restaurant is lovely and cosy and the welcome was very friendly. The food was good, not great, though I felt that some portion sizes were a little small for the price. Service was great. Overall, we had a very good experience.

Excellent food. We had the set menu which was great value. Atmosphere and service were also spot on. We will be back for certain in the near future.

Very friendly. Proper French food without the pretension and price tag that often accompanies it. The menu ranges from light brunch (pancakes, croque monsieur) to substantial dishes such as confit duck leg with cassoulet.

Nice little Bistro, good food, welcoming, informal service. We were going to Sadlers Wells, this is ideally situated and they have a very good value pre theatre special menu.

The main courses were excellent. As was one of our starters. There was nothing wrong with the other, it was a little odd. Hence score.

Compact but very friendly and ideally located if you're heading to Sadlers Wells. Lovely selection of French Bistro classics and I can recommend the Steak Tartare - more ingredients than usual (tomatoes, coriander) but very more-ish. Would definitely book again.

When we arrived at the restaurant there was no booking for us (made via Quandoo and confirmed two days before). They found us a table, made us very welcome and gave us a delightful pre-theatre dinner. What we would have done if they had been unable to help us I am not sure.

Excellent food, variety and service and so convenient for Sadlers Wells theatre. Easy access from Angel tube station. Would certainly go again when attending the theatre.

Food and atmosphere perfect. This is a busy French bistro, the ideal place for a pre-theatre meal. Staff efficient and friendly. BUT - and it is a big but - there was no record of our booking and the party who arrived at the same time as us had a similar problem and were turned away. For this reason I have dropped a star and would recommend that anyone booking telephones the restaurant direct.
