The tables were cleared a little too fast, you barely swallowed the last morsel and the plate was gone.

Superb meal, great quality ingredients. One of the finest Indian restaurants in Hampshire. Relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff. A firm favourite and all you can ask for really.

We eat at Monsoon fairly regularly. The staff are polite and cheerful and the food is always delicious. I would definitely recommend eating here. My only criticism is that sometimes the music can be too loud but if you ask politely for it to be turned down it isn’t a problem

As usual the service was good, the Kingfisher was cold and the food was excellent. Service about right but a bit quick with starters - still eating my poppadoms!

I had lunch at Monsoon with my husband. We were the only people there and were made to feel very special by our waiter who asked after our Christmas plans and appeared genuinely interested when we told him about our new little boy. Great food too.

The food and service was very good as usual. There was a very loud table with a group of men who spoilt the ambience. I would have liked the restaurant manager to have asked them to keep the noise down.

Booking was not received at the restaurant even though I received confirmation from you. Staff were a bit over zealous and a bit disorganised although eager. Food was mediocre, not served until we chased it up then appeared immediately and looked as though it had been standing around for a while. Serving dishes were cold, will not be going there again for a while. Needs improvement.

This was our first visit to the Monsoon Restaurant and it left us very impressed as we have been in search of a good Indian restaurant ever since the "Gate of India" closed in Hook. Great food , service , atmosphere and very reasonable price. we will definitely be returning and possibly the Monsoon will become a regular eating place.
