Indian food is always close to the top of the list of favourites in the UK, and Scotland is no different. Up in Stirling town centre, they swear by Nawab Indian Cuisine on Upper Craigs, where all the subcontinental specialities that are so beloved by the Scottish public are served up, alongside plenty of other lesser-known Indian favourites. We’d recommend the lazeez lal jal, fresh lamb cooked up with capsicum, spring onion and the renowned Naga chilli, as well as the customary spices, resulting in a fiery and authentic dish. Take a trip to Stirling – Upper Craigs, where you’ll find Nawab, is a short walk from Stirling train station – and book a table ahead of time, as they can get quite busy on occasion.
Best Indian I have ever had! Wasn't expensive either and the service was good. I will definitely be going again some time very soon. Thanks.
We had a fantastic meal and the service was second to none... To top off a great tasty curry I had the home made rice pudding.... Excellent...
