This was the first time I visited Negril and I was disappointed. We were sat by bushes which were overgrown and where there were spiders which was scary. Then unfortunately, our food ticket was mislaid so we had to wait extra long for our food. We were offered drinks in the meantime but this was not complimentary. There didn't seem to be anyone managing the place, just three waitresses. I thought the food would compensate but unfortunately, it was not as nice as I was expecting. The rice with gungo peas was quite bland. It tasted as if the rice was cooked with tinned gungo peas and didn't consist of much seasoning or coconut cream. On the plus side, the venue next door was playing nice live jazz music.

The food was excellent. Everyone in my party was more than satisfied with the time it took for the food to be served, as well as the quantity and quality of the food. The service was also great.

I love coming here. Food and drink is great. Reminds me of my dads cooking. Portions are generous (always need a doggy bag !!) and cocktails are spot on. Brought 5 friends with me last week who loved it. Keep doing what you’re doing guys. You just need larger premises to accommodate the queue of people you always have. Already have some family members lined up for my next visit. See you soon.

My favourite place for Jerk chicken. Great sauces, rice and peas, and homemade coleslaw to accompany you it.

Great, authentic Caribbean food a stone's throw from me. The staff were great and the portions generous. Don't leave without trying the saltfish fritters or cocktails!

The staff and food never cease to disappoint us - one of our favourite local spots especially when we have friends visiting. Definitely try the carrot cake with ice cream!

A good experience with some authentic Jamaican food. The view of the garden was calming and cool at this time of year. However the service was a bit slow.

good is improving, the jerk chicken still isn't rjer, dry and more of a roast chicken catering to the new Brixton hipsters but I love the salt fish fritters and plantains

I've long felt it a shame that, considering we're talking about London, there are so few decent restaurants offering West Indian cuisine. Then I stumbled upon Negril by accident, and I'm so glad I did. The restaurant itself is lovely, the staff are friendly and the food is divine. It is as good as all the family food I ate growing up. Can't wait to go back; I've finally found a home-from-home in London.

The food was really good, and so was the atmosphere. We had the sampler platter, which included some nice chicken. Service wasn't amazing - it wasn't possible to swap the fish in the platter for another meat dish, so we got an extra portion of fries instead. Took a long time to get the check, and then a service charge had already been added on (a personal allergy - I really like to decide for myself what kind of tip I give, and that's not because I'm a bad tipper). Considering the raving reviews, we were a bit underwhelmed.

Unfortunately the service we received after complaints was poor, the food was poor quality overall, the rum punch however was excellent, but the service made the entire experience a shambles so unfortunately won’t be going back.

Negril is a great place - chilled and friendly atmosphere and the food is delicious! The platters are always worth getting - loadsa food and all yummy.

Food is amazing, service is quick and efficient. This is one of my favourite local restaurants. No fuss delicious food - just how we like it.

Top-notch, freshly-cooked, authentic Jamaican food in a friendly, informal atmosphere. Someone even rang in advance to check whether we wanted to sit inside or out. Highly recommended.

I took my mum here for her bday meal and she absolutely loved it😍😋. The service was excellent and staff were lovely and very attentive.

Very special place and delicious food! Saltfish fritters are the best! We also ordered jerk chicken and ackee and saltfish and they were great. Very nice staff and sweet outdoor setting! We’ll be back!
