Lovely food but the service wasn't good. We waited and waited for our main course,at the end we had to ask for it.

Place was packed and all the staff were flying around. We didn’t feel particularly relaxed. Food was mediocre. Nann bread and mushroom pilau were the best things. Popadums were grim Staff on the whole were friendly, in particular one young girl who was very attentive and friendly

Really good meal for all four of us last night with good quality food.

So sad to hear NNB is closing in its current form. Let’s hope its reincarnation is even better.

We booked for our 12th wedding anniversary. We've not been out for an Indian meal for years and it was amazing! We ordered popadums, pickles, starter and mains plus sides. We're veggy and it's not often you get a delicious veggy meal. The bengal veggie grill was insanely nice !! Thanks xx

Always a good atmosphere and the food is always very good. The staff are always friendly. Overall a good place to eat and get value for money.

nice restaurant but waste of time reserving a table, didn't check that we had booked. It was noisy, tables are very close together. Having said that food is really good and staff are very pleasant.

Absolutely incredible as always. Food was fantastic and despite being the busiest I’ve seen it for a very long time, the service was brilliant and never faltered.

Food and service were good but we quickly became the last people dining at around 9.40pm and the staff started cleaning up around us. Sweeping the floor was a bit too much when we’re trying to enjoy the food. Overall it spoilt the night and I wish I’d said something!

The service really let this restaurant down. We didn’t feel properly welcomed. Staff were very unfriendly (rude) Food was cleared from the table without asking if we’d finished (which we had not). Staff hovered and watched us eating. The food was nice, however, we won’t be back.

Another visit and a new dish for me as I went with the vegan grill instead of my usual choice and it did not disappoint both in taste and quality so definitely in my top 3 dishes at this restaurant .

Having to spend more this week which is a good excuse to go for another meal at this restaurant. The chicken tikka is excellent here and I tried the prawn puri which was also good so definitely have this dish again.

Another lovey meal had the chicken tikka masala again as it’s a really tasty dish and the chicken is really juicy were sone restaurants dry the chicken out by over cooking the meat but they get it just right. Location is central too so easy to get to.

I really enjoy eating here when in the Sunderland area. The food is always good and I really enjoy the chicken tikka masala. One of these visits I will try something new as there is plenty to choose from.

Enjoyed the chicken tikka, meat was tender as sometimes it can be dry. I was tempted by the starters so maybe next visit I will give them a try

It’s been a while but loved visiting this restaurant again and loved both he food and the service. All receive a warm welcome and get well looked after from start to end of your meal
