Excellent reception, attentive but not overbearing staff. Due to my fish allergy the chef cooked my onion bhajis in fresh oil, they were perfect. Food was well presented and both my husband and I said it was the best Indian meal we’ve had in a long time. I am a slow eater and did not feel rushed, in fact we were left after we’d finished our course for a few minutes then asked if we were ready for our next course. We will certainly return. Thank you.

Brilliant night with friends. The manager greeted us by name as we were shown to our table and later his father came to speak to us too, wonderful. The food was amazing, 2 members of the party tried dishes they hadn’t had before and were not disappointed. The restaurant never rushes you, the staff are attentive but not over the top. You’re given plenty of time to make your choices, and the food is served piping hot , Love this restaurant will definitely go again

Really really enjoyed this. Popadums and starters were really big. We both had madras curry which was very tasty. We will definitely be back soon.

They serve great Indian food. We have been there a number of times and each time food has been good. I would definitely go back.

Great atmosphere, great service, best curry for miles around and value for money. Shame they have taken off the bottled bitters which are an unusual offering in most curry houses: but still highly recommended.

We found that the menu was slightly limited, and missed out on a bhiriani, but the food that we ordered was excellent as was the service. Would happily recommended.

Fabulous food, beautifully spiced and well presented. Great service although a little slow once we had finished our meal but to be fair, the restaurant was very busy.

Looks like a small venue but it's larger than it looks, has a first floor, and looks very clean. Staff managed to fit in our requirements (party of 4 on a budget), and arranged for a pleasant evening with plenty of food throughout. Food was really good, and to top things off, its location is right at the start of the high street (next to Gosforth Hotel). Will be back!

Menu is great. It has a good mix of classic Currys and some items are bit different. The food and service is always excellent. I love this restaurant.
