We were there at family eating time 5.45 pm. Not the restaurant’s fault re the noise level. One child screamed practically nonstop, and I mean screamed!! I would go back but at a different time. Staff very friendly and helpful even though they were extremely busy.

Booked for a hen party with a large group of people. Food was fantastic, portion sizes were also large. It was a busy evening, however orders were taken quickly and food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, based on there being so many of us. Staff were friendly and kept checking to make sure we were OK for drinks. Would definitely recommend and I will be back.

Good food and friendly service although me and my partner could hardly hear each other due to the noise of the restaurant between screaming children and customers in the bar shouting at the football.

Our table was not ready on arrival. There was false advertisement of meal deal times from staff. Long waiting times between courses. Charged wrong on the bill. Had to be refunded twice and staff never apologised once for this inconvience, considering we had a taxi waiting and stated this to them. We won't be back. Very disappointed in the overall service.

Food was satisfactory for the price. Pulled pork burger and chips were very dry. Would have needed a sauce or dressing to make it more palatable. A choice of side would have been nice. Had to wait a considerable time for drinks to be served.

My family celebrated a special birthday meal in the New York Inn last night. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the service was superb as was the food. We had a great evening. We will be back. Thank you so much to the chef/s and all the staff.

Sunday lunch. Cravery although nothing really to complain about it was average enough. Edging on bland taste Waiter was a bit abrupt but rest of staff pleasant

Food was nice but the service left a lot to be desired. Table service was very slow all night. It was at least 15 minutes before our drinks order was taken and then our drinks didn't arrive until after our food. This was only because we had to ask multiple times. There was only one waiter taking orders out of the 5/6 that were in the area.

Four adults and two children were well p l eased wit the food and everything else. No complaints

We have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions. On this occasion we took two dogs with us and sat on the balcony provided. We were pleasantly surprised. Infrared heaters were turned on and we had a very pleasant time together. Will definitely be back.

Good food and a nice environment. Could be bit more competitive price wise with special menus and extending to after 6.30pm.

Disappointed by slow and inefficient service, e.g. we were twice asked for a drinks order by the same server who had forgotten to process our order which she had taken 15 minutes previously. Access to the restaurant was through a very shabby door at the bar. Several of the staff looked a bit dishevelled and untidy with dirty uniforms and shoes. We have been faithful clients of New York Inn for several years but do not intend to go back.

Everything was good apart from the meat... very chewy need to buy better meat ie hung for 28/30 days before cooking...

Food was good but there was absolutely no service. I realize it’s a busy time but this was ridiculous.

Overall food was good, bit of a wait on liqueur coffees but given its British open prob understandable as busy but great one of v few restaurants could book a table. Def return, staff v pleasant. 👍😊

Had 3 course menu all courses delicious especially salt chilli chicken, a real treat to have homemade custard with homemade desserts. Amy's service and attention to detail was excellent.

Awful - Sunday night indifference from Restaurant and staff. Never go there again. £2.95 for a handful of chips, £44 in to talk for a totally inspired meal and service.

Staff where nice. They forgot to bring the other garlic fries we had ordered but everyone makes mistakes sometimes. Then when we started eating our food within 5 minutes we had 3 different waiters/waitresses asking if everything was ok. Food was lovely. Will definitely be back again.

Steaks very over cooked. Menu suggests 2 courses for £12 but doesn't state thst thete are a lot of supplements and sides are extra. Very over priced for what you get. Unfortunately we will not be back in the future.
