Nick's Restaurant

It was a Lovely meal for my sons 21st for twelve people. Food was excellent and staff were professional attentive and friendly. I would highly recommended

Very romantic setting and the food was amazing love this place will definitely be returning. The staff are lovely and you can definitely tell they love what they do.

Don’t judge a book by its cover- I had not dined at Nicks before. It was recommended to me and I booked as a treat for my husband. On arriving we were a little dubious- however once inside a warm and cosy atmosphere and the food was really delicious. Would highly recommend- I will be going back.

Food was excellent, as was the service. The only distraction was being reasonably close to the door which was cold and there being larger parties. We were a table for two. It won't put me off going again though.

Great night, fantastic foodstaff frindly. Would recomend to anyone. Head waiter gave some valuble suggestions. The best fillet steak i have had. Extensive specials board

The food and service was great but we had a table for 4 and it was a little cramped because though the room was very cosy it was quite small

Excellent food but service a bit amateurish. All main courses and starters superb but not much vegetables served between four us. Wine was good value on price/quality matrix.

The food was of a high standard but there was a problem with the booking through Quendoo. Fortunately the staff were accommodating and were able to offer us a table.

Always a good meal here. Sunday menu very good value. Delicious sirloin of beef. Plenty of other options too. Quite busy so atmosphere good too

Excellent food with very good size portions even though we had the early bird market menu. Staff were friendly and ready to help. My wife asked if the meal could be changed slightly from the menu and they were happy to to do this.

small cosy intermit restaurant first impression's met by staff straight away and was taken to are table we were looked after from start to finish. The food was of the height's quality and cooked to perfection by the chef. last but not least classiness was superb.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner , the food came in good time , it was hot and the quality of food was well worth the money . The staff were friendly and courteous. A thoroughly enjoyable evening that I would repeat .

We have been dining at Nick's for over 20 years; the food is of good quality and the market menu offers good value for mone. The A La Carte is more upmarket providing an array of choices for a special occasion but this can can be quite expensive. The service is generally good but sometimes when the restaurant is busy this can be affected. With the excellent Maitre D having left a few months ago, Nick's doesn't yet seem to have regained the organised and efficient manner in which the floor is managed which is unfortunate as it all adds to what is usually a lovely dining experience.

Food and service wonderful, only moan is we all ordered a steak but didn't get a steak knife, but later noticed the table at the side of us did.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. We will definitely be returning. We both had the steak and they were cooked to perfection. The hot chocolate brownie was just amazing too.

Excellent menu and the food tasted just as good. The restaurant has a friendly, cosy atmosphere and we were able to take a leisurely time over eating our meal.

My brother is over from Australia and we wanted to take him somewhere special. I had heard so many good reports about Nick's from friends and family so decided to try it. We weren't disappointed- it certainly lived up to its reputation. The steaks and lobster were cooked to perfection as were the vegetables. Excellent service too - the staff were extremely attentive and professional but also very 'smiley'! A great evening - will definitely return and recommend.

Generally a great dining experience with excellent food. There were a couple of niggles. Tables are crammed into the room on the ground floor. The specials board was not viewable from our table without standing up and was so extensive that one would have had to stand for several minutes alongside other tables to take in all the offerings. Wait staff were so busy that it was impossible to get their attention on occasions and I had to get up and go to the desk to pay my bill as a result.

Nick's is quite simply an experience to be savoured - the food is wonderful, & there is any amount to choose from on the very extensive menu - & the staff are just so very pleasant & efficient. Definitely one of Bolton's better eating out experiences.

We went for early special as I was pregnant at the time and didn't want to eat too late. Food and price was fantastic and will definitely be back!

Enjoyed the food & service. Family loved it and we would definitely go there again.the food menu was a little restricted but the specials on the board made up. The prices a a little on the high side but you get what you pay for these days.

Absolutely amazing as ever favourite place to eat in Bolton we had rib eye steak with chilli and the mrs had sea food chowder .... amazing

Love this restaurant have visited several times and always enjoy an excellent meal . It's quite small so booking is a must. It has a quirky French bistro feel.

It was our wedding anniversary 53rd The food was excellent with our favourite dish on the menu Lobster Thermadore so we had to have it. The first time we had this was on a ship in the French restaurant and Nicks bettered that. Everything was great food and service. The restaurant was busy but we did not feel neglected in any way. Whilst the seating at Nick's is slightly cramped the food never disappoints. Probably the best food in Bolton. We dine early to avoid being crowded.

Book well in advance to get reservation. Really nice atmosphere and the meal was very nice. Save room for dessert! They were fabulous... Nick came out to say hello to the guests at the end of the night. Great guy.

This was the second time I have eaten here and there will most definitely be a third. Wonderful, cosy atmosphere, lovely, warm friendly staff and surely the best food in the area. I took my family along this time so that they could enjoy the experience too and they all enjoyed it immensely.

The Restraunt is tucked away in a row of shops. Inside it is cozy and warm. The staff are very attentive and couldn't do enough for us.The food is out of this world and very reasonably priced.The chef is world class. A great night out. Definitely going again!!!

It's surprising how much space there is once you enter! We were seated upstairs, which I liked, as it was light and airy. We had the market menu, since the price is reasonable for this and early evening suits us. The food was good, the service friendly, courteous and efficient, and I would recommend this place.

OMG excellent, best restaurant in Bolton. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent price for a special occasion. Going next week again cos it's a Saturday 😃

Food was good, service was very poor. After we eat our main course and the plates were taken away we were ignored for the rest of the evening. We were not offered any sweet or coffee's the lasting impression we were left with was that the restaurant did not want our custom as the staff wanted to close quickly and go home ! We shall not be returning.
