Decor could do with an improvement seating and chairs very old and wonky food good though but - expensive I would not return for another visit, City Center prices in very dire part of town

Really good experience, staff were friendly, food was delicious, just right speed of service , would recommend, the atmosphere was really nice and lots of choice.

Been to Nicks several times it really is a hidden gem. Six of us dined last night and everyone's food without exception was amazing! The fish dishes especially are excellent! Quite cramped for space so book early

Great food and service as always. Would have liked to keep the table a while longer though and there was a cold draught coming from the front door opening and closing a lot. Would recommend an upstairs table.

Wow!! Absolutely gorgeous meal. Perfect valentines meal. Lovely ambience and atmosphere. I had garlic mushrooms for starters and they were delicious. For my main I had lamb shank in a mint and red wine sauce, again so tasty - divine!! I finished off with a Baileys ice cream Sunday; very nice but wish I'd gone for the ferro rochea cheese cake, like my husband. It was our first time at Nicks but definitely not our last! We loved it.

Nicks is a hidden Gem in Bolton. Great menu, constantly changing using the freshest ingredients available. Extensive wine list and even a whisky list. Excellent staff and the food...It speaks for itself! It's delicious, fresh and exciting. The ingredients are top quality, locally sourced and award winning. Nick himself even comes out to ask how everything was at the end of the night! Would highly recommend and will be returning shortly!
