We did a walk in for late lunch on Saturday, enjoyed it so much we booked online for breakfast on Sunday!! Excellent venue!!

The main was served to 2 of us, and then they produced the wrong order for my friends. He had to wait 10 mins more for his main, by which time ours was tepid at best. A shame for a terminal cancer goodbye visit in my opinion. (Sad face)

Food was lovely…I can’t complain there but the staff did nothing about a table behind us who was throwing up at the table for at least 45mins…we had to tell the staff that they left a bag of sick. We didn’t get an apology and it wasn’t very pleasant experience. I would have asked that person to leave or go to the toilets

First time visiting, we went for our anniversary originally booked inside, but due to lovely weather we sat outside. We had the tapas and cocktails. Food, drinks and service was great. Atmosphere had a real holiday vibe too!

We very much enjoyed our lunch today, especially the Grilled Sea Bass, so thank you!

I have frequented this restaurant on many, many occasions and have never had a problem. There were 6 of us and 4 of us had the skate and each of the skate meals were luke warm. It had taken so long to get the meal therefore we just couldn’t be bothered to complain as restaurant was so busy. We didn’t even stay for coffees. One of our friends had her dogs with her and they ate it all. Such a dreadful shame.

It’s a lovely restaurant with great views over the estuary. The food is always excellent, a wide choice, fresh, well cooked and presented. I think the price represents good value. The staff are always welcoming and attentive. We have been several times, (breakfast, lunches and evening meals), and will definitely return.

Beautiful day for fresh seafood by the harbour. Friendly staff, clean terrace. Clean W/C facilities. We will definitely be returning again soon.

Our meal at No.1 Cockleshed Old Leigh was really good and we very much liked the Winter set menu we had for lunch. Restaurant location is near the sea and the interior space is very nice with comfortable seating.

Warm welcome on a rainy February day. Great menu we opt for tapas 10 plates in total (5 plates per course) for the 4 of us and 2x bread and 2x salads, the mussels, sardines, squid, cockle n crab croquette's, white bait were all absolutely delicious. All served on Warm plates and fresh cutlery each course. Really Good service. Nice music in the restaurant and nice ambiance. Definitely would recommend and we will definitely return.

The restaurant was not busy but there were a couple of other tables. A girl and man waiting tables. The man was very pleasant. The girl however was very surly with no interaction with us. We were passing plates and thanking her but with no response. Everyone at the table commented on her attitude maybe she was having a bad evening. Food was okay. Wine was lovely and good choice.
