Me and my family visited today for the first time, we were able to sit at are table early, which was great, i didnt care for the sofa chair as i felt to low for the table but the decor and service was great, the food was lovely we had three Lamb and one chicken and the only think I can say was that the roast potatoes were hard, not just me but every1 at the table said the same,shame only thing about my dinner that let it down.

First visit but won’t be our last - we were really impressed - great food and great service

Apart from waiting almost an hour for our food (mains, no starters), it was one of the best places we have eaten. The waitress was lovely and did say there would be a but if a wait but that it "wouldn't be too long", however we did wonder if she had forgot to put our order in after 45 minutes. Having said that, the food was absolutely divine. I had the vegan Bubble & Squeak pie which was tasty and the lasted was perfect. Served with chunky chips and tenderstem broccoli which were also cooked to perfection. My Fiancé had the Steak Frites and he said the rump was delicious, exactly how he likes it. He followed it with a mountainous helping of Sticky Toffee Pudding and I had the Pistachio Sponge (less than quarter of the size?!), but both were also really good. Overall, this is definitely somewhere we will visit again - the vegan options were both excellent (the other being a burger) and I loved the fact that they serve a completely different kind of pie! Pretty damn excellent.

This was our first time visiting, we are staying in the area and was looking for somewhere dog friendly. What an amazing place, great food and super friendly staff. The doggie menu is a great idea, our dog loved her dinner as much as we loved ours. Such a shame we don’t have this as our local!

All good, had booked and shown to table promptly on arrival, it was a lovely day so people coming in and out for drinks and ordering food outside, which added to the atmosphere as it was fairly quiet inside. The food was lovely, couldn’t fault the chicken and leek pie, plenty of filling and nicely presented, other half had room for the sticky toffee pudding and said that was also delicious.

Beautiful food, very friendly host / staff. Made the dogs feel very welcome and they really enjoyed their 3 course meal too!

Sunday lunch , we all only had main courses. Good portion , ordered side of cauli cheese and more gravy . Tasty beef , the pork was disappointing very dry . Huge Yorkshire pudding but over cooked . Quick good service Would return .

Our roast dinners were lovely and meat cooked to perfection.

Sunday lunch for four plus dog. Staff very welcoming. Everyone enjoyed their roasts: chicken, beef and nutless nut! There’s even a menu for the dog. Conservatory garden room is lovely and light.

First visit, my wife and I went for Sunday dinner. We got starters (soup and prawns) and both had leg of lamb. The starters were really nice. The dinner was good but not exceptional. It was noticeable that we were eating previous cooked and then reheated items on our dinner. The service was friendly, attentive and very good.

Great service from the waiting staff, thank you to all , lovely surroundings, food tasty but some obvious errors, broccoli very undercooked , portions just ok, soup not good. It was a lovely Sunny day and that helped but in two minds whether I’d return . Was expecting great things and was not disappointed with anything other than some aspects of the food. Last note, Brown sugar tart for dessert was lovely.

We had a lovely time. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and very helpful. It was great that we could take our dog too. I would definitely recommend and will eat there again.

Food was nice, service ok, seating a bit low down

Always enjoy the food at the Northumberland Arms. Consistency is sometimes hard to find. Sticky toffee pudding may harden your arteries but my goodness it is sublime. The Malbec was lovely and the staff genial and helpful. Will return aga8n very soon.

First time we have visited, definitely will not be the last. Fabulous food, great atmosphere and really good, helpful and professional staff.

We visited 3 times during our week in Felton each visit a delight wonderful staff great service .We were visiting the area with our dog so finding a restaurant that truly made us welcome was a treat .
