Food was excellent, staff were brilliant could not do enough for us , Brilliant!!

Polite, prompt service. Water bottle heavier than expected but looked very nice. Food was delicious and good portion size.

We had to wait a long time for our starters and main course but drinks were delivered quickly. The terrace was cold but the heaters were put on for us but preferable to be sat there than in the restaurant itself which was really noisy.

Had a lovely breakfast on the terrace. I am Coeliac, and our lovely server advised me of suitable items that were available for people with my condition. I can recommend the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and fried mushrooms, delicious 😋. Looking forward to my next visit.

Lovely staff & great food as always. Hubby was pleased to have a different menu for valentines & some more options as the menu has been the same here for years. We enjoyed our evening & will definitely be back 😀

Venue (terrace) spoiled by noise from young children - not the place for them when people want to enjoy a peaceful lunch.

Never been before, drove past more times than I can remember, we certainly missed out, the food for me and my party was amazing, the service was great, very attentive and although not the cheapest we thought it was good value due to portion size, great selection of drinks all served with a smile, we will be going again.

Absolutely fantastic, 1st time visiting, very easy to book, there were 3 of us for lunch and we loved it. Food quality outstanding, service top notch, portions were a fantastic size, very clean and welcoming, I would highly recommend to anyone, thank you for a lovely lunch, only one downside, it was my birthday and I had to pay 😂 we we definitely be back xx

We arrived 5 mins early which was waitress took our drinks order edited ages for food order to be taken then waited 1hr for starters then another hour for food waited she’s got bread to come with mussels with starter in fact had finished mussels before bread come fish very greasy chips not very hot Cajun chicken in baguette was horrible and noodles with duck had no taste very disappointing it wasn’t that busy in there been before and had nice food but would think twice about going back

really need to brush up on their allergy safety. I expressly told them my allergy was to rocket and that it had been upgraded from intolerance to moderate. When I got my starter hidden under the meat and edge of salsa was a mixture of lettuce cheese and rocket. If I hadnt moved the dish i would have ingested some of the food and likely fainted and vomited on the spot, then developed hives and for hours be itchy and nauseous. not good when your driving for nearly 2 hours home. they need to take it seriously even when busy.

The food was delicious and the staff very helpful. Service was a little slow but it was very busy.

Food great, all staff very pleasant and polite. There is sometimes a fine line between leaving people in peace and ignoring them. The service wasn't as attentive as it could have been, not asked if wanted drinks after initial service had to ask for desert menus. We were in no rush and was enjoying the venue, it wasn't particularly busy and plenty of staff. This survey request came through before we had even finished our meal, doesnt make you feel very wanted !

A different menu choice to most restaurants The meals we chose were excellent very tasty and well presented. Maybe too many chips for the likes of us. The staff very pleasant and also dressed smartly not necessarily a uniform but all similar no jeans to be seen
