Couldn't fault the food, prices are reasonable, and it is a lovely restaurant with superb views. However, of the four serving staff who attended our table only one really earned their tip. I appreciate that it was a busy day for the staff and tensions may have been high, but there was no excuse for the rather sharp attitude of the other three. After taking our orders, the first server snatched the menu out of my hand as they walked away, and the other two delivered our food as if they were in a Western saloon from a cowboy film. I'd like to think it was a one off but it was supposed to be a special treat for my mum who hadn't been there before, and first impressions count.

We were a party of 6. We placed our order at 10.50 and food srrived at 11.45. The food was ok, despite the plates being hot the food wasn't. We weren't impressed and probably won't go back to eat, maybe for a drink but only maybe

Polite, prompt service. Water bottle heavier than expected but looked very nice. Food was delicious and good portion size.

We had to wait a long time for our starters and main course but drinks were delivered quickly. The terrace was cold but the heaters were put on for us but preferable to be sat there than in the restaurant itself which was really noisy.

Had a lovely breakfast on the terrace. I am Coeliac, and our lovely server advised me of suitable items that were available for people with my condition. I can recommend the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and fried mushrooms, delicious 😋. Looking forward to my next visit.

Never been before, drove past more times than I can remember, we certainly missed out, the food for me and my party was amazing, the service was great, very attentive and although not the cheapest we thought it was good value due to portion size, great selection of drinks all served with a smile, we will be going again.

Absolutely fantastic, 1st time visiting, very easy to book, there were 3 of us for lunch and we loved it. Food quality outstanding, service top notch, portions were a fantastic size, very clean and welcoming, I would highly recommend to anyone, thank you for a lovely lunch, only one downside, it was my birthday and I had to pay 😂 we we definitely be back xx

We arrived 5 mins early which was waitress took our drinks order edited ages for food order to be taken then waited 1hr for starters then another hour for food waited she’s got bread to come with mussels with starter in fact had finished mussels before bread come fish very greasy chips not very hot Cajun chicken in baguette was horrible and noodles with duck had no taste very disappointing it wasn’t that busy in there been before and had nice food but would think twice about going back

Friendly staff , beautiful setting , great restaurant. Good food , fish / chips lovely , big piece fish . Great lemon meringue sundae too . Look forward to visiting again in summer
