Take out business seems to have precedent - very slow in getting our order - was told that it takes that much time to cook salmon( then worried that they were over cooking it) - was not an honest answer. Pretty noisy place. Food once we got it was very good.

food was amazing but had to wait a long time for the table and staff were not great with accommodating because it was so busy

Friendly staff, excellent cuisine and service. What’s not to like?

Food was perfect, when we asked for Jasmine tea to share we kind of expected a pot with two cups we got two mugs with tea bags in it and nowhere to put the bags. Like I said food was perfect but there was a group of 4 12 year olds on the phones laughing and giggling and being very noisy and I know I wasn’t the only customer to give them the side eye when they got too loud. If you’ve been to Oka you know it’s petite inside which is part of its charm but the staff should have done something about those kids because it very quickly got annoying, this is Regents Park Sushi, not a McD’s. I think this was a one-off it won’t deter me from coming back because the food was excellent.

Fresh-tasting, generous, well-presented dishes tho would have liked more mandarin in my sashimi salad. Convivial service, relaxed atmosphere. No rush to leave.

Food looked good when we entered the restaurant so it might be we chose the wrong dishes. My salt n pepper squid was like eating a heap of Quavers - tasteless, the vegetable tempora were heavy pieces of leather, my lemon grass and ginger chicken on rice was absolutely tasteless. I cant say my fellow colleagues experienced anything different. The service was made by about 3 different waiters so no consistency. Admittedly we did try to plough through the dishes and when the manager asked how we enjoyed the meal, we entered into a discussion on what to do about it, despite the fact that I had already told the waiter over the first course, that it was unacceptable food. They need to find a new chef.

Food delicious. Environment dark and uncomfortable. We basically ate in the dark - lamp over head was out and amazingly they turned the lights down in the restaurant when it turned darker outside. They were indifferent about it and just offered to read the menu to us - pretty absurd. Our table was stuffed up against the entrance with loads of people walking by - and noisy. It is a small restaurant so it is hard to deal with the tables but the lighting situation is silly. I’ll maybe do takeout next time.
