Really nice food and excellent value, would definately go again

Do not like like loud music playing in eating establishments. Spoils the ambience when enjoying a meal as good as that served in the Bank. Sat eating whilst wearing ear plugs, which took the edge off our visit

Music too loud to have a comfortable conversation across the table so we asked to be moved which was not a problem.

Had been wanting to go back since the Aug/Sept menu became available so I could try the chicken skin Crisps so was very disappointed to find that they'd ran out. However, I shared his Crackling (which we got free of charge because the chef thought it were overcooked) and it were amazing. Starters were also fantastic. He had pork cheeks, I had risotto, both were very good sized portions and tasted out of this world. He had chicken Kiev for main which he said was also fantastic, I had gnocchi which was nice but had quite a dry consistency overall making it quite heavy. His pudding was again fantastic (crumble) but he couldn't eat it all after everything else. My biscoff cheesecake wasn't so good - made him try it to check it wasn't just me but he didn't like it either....I ate the base. They also gave us 2 free drinks because somehow (no idea how) they knew that we'd just got married. We'll definitely be back....I need to try those chicken skin crisps.

The Old Bank is an excellent place with a great atmosphere and stunning food

Some of the food had been overcooked or left under the heating lights and was very dry. Staff were told and they said they would "pass it on". Nothing else was said.

Disappointed our first choice of starter was not available and the lamb for the main was slightly over cooked.

Ok.i had looked at menu on line during week and really fancied the ham, not available when we got there. Disappointed.

Lovely staff and atmosphere. Maybe had expectations a little higher after reviews and photos but was still lovely and great price in the early bird window.

My husband and I had an beautiful meal , I’m Coeliac and Vegetarian so it’s hard to get somewhere to eat, but they accommodated for me perfectly, the portions were huge , staff very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome, highly recommend and will be back

First visit, loved the decor etc. Food really good. One tiny dislike..husband found too much gravy over his dish, pie was swimming in it. Better to serve gravy separately in jug. Pleasant, friendly waiter.
