Absolutely amazing! Food was great! Atmosphere perfect and the staff were delightful. Kept apologising for being busy and food running behind but we didn’t even notice and it was most definitely worth the wait! Will be back again! New favourite place! Will be recommending to all my friends and family!

The food was delicious and everything we ordered was very good quality. The portions were quite large. Excellent value for money and a good range of drinks on offer.

Excellent meal large portions nice food Servers very helpful & friendly 14th Feb but didn’t charge Valentine prices £22 for three courses I can’t manage more than one course & it was no problem they let me just have & pay for main course only They even let my husband take his dessert home as he couldn’t manage 3 courses Will certainly go again

Brilliant food & good value for money. Disappointing reception at first. Seated at a table right by the door & given a time limit even though the restaurant was empty but the young gentleman who waited on our table was very good. Would go again but specify not that table.

Great waitress friendly and attentive, fast service the food average but still hot and tasty. The thing I didn't like was the burger was served on a wooden board which had gaps in so not the most hygienic a plate would be far better. the other thing that let it down was there was no atmosphere and freezing i kept my coat on the whole time!!

Excellent choice on the set menu and very reasonably priced. Lovely food. Good wine list. Very helpful, friendly and professional staff. Would definately return and definately recommnend.

Not much choice on lunch menu very noisy large group seated beside us When bill arrived it was wrong . Next tables drink had been added to ours . Was well we checked our bill

Staff and service was really good. However the menu had considerably changed since our last visit, which meant it was difficult to find something to our tastes.

Went for Thursday pie night. Beautiful food. Service excellent. Chef/owner came out to say hello. Too ful to have a pudding so next time I will hopefully as I’m sure they are delicious too

In on a Friday nite enjoying the Autumn Effect menu. Starter and main course were great, desserts not quite to the same high standards. Staff were great, helpful and informative on the gins. Overall a great night in a place with the right ambiance

Amazing food the only thing I had an issue with was The apple crumble is tasted of wood and left a horrible taste in your mouth for hours after

The food was beautiful but limited. No fish and just two steaks left at 8.15. The service staff were very good but very slow. Hardly any staff. We sat for 20 minutes before our drink order was taken then a further 25 minutes before the food was ordered. I appreciate they were very busy but surely they knew how many bookings they had that night?

We had a fantastic meal. We went for the pie night and can honestly say it was one of the best pies we have had. Really tender meat and the pastry was really lovely (and I can be a bit picky with pastry). Plenty of choice of pies and sides, we will be back to try a different variation! The service was brilliant - friendly and polite, not too intrusive, and made to feel very relaxed. It was really good value for money too, and being able to get a bottle of wine for only a little extra was great. My partner had the cheesecake for dessert and was very impressed! We would highly recommend and we will be back soon!

Food was beautiful service was great. Just not a good a night to be in when there is a big party there. Especially when you just want a quiet meal.

Great lunch time offers, fantastic food. Will return for the great service. Gin choice was incredible. Booking was Quandoo was easy to do and you got a reminder.

Very good service. Fish was a bit in the small side. Eton mess did not taste of either limoncello or coconut as it was supposed to.But overall not bad value.

service was great. both had roast beef which was excellent. roast potato was hard and the veg was a bit under seasoned. all in all though the food was good.

Good service and food was quickly brought out. While the food was nice I would have liked to have seen some more veg with the main meal and the chocolate orange sundae was a bit sickly. Still to have a 3 course meal under £20 you can't complain at all.

Had the Sunday Roast which was Beef it was delicious, quick service and pleasant staff,nice atmosphere so will defo be returning to try other dishes.

Our lunch was absolutely delicious (mia mama wrap and ham slab- i've not stopped thinking about it!) and the staff were friendly too. Will be back!

Lovely starters and mains, puddings dissappointing . Fantastic variety of gins. Service wasn' t great. The lady looked bored, the man was better but much more attentive to another couple that arrived. We were seated in the corner by the door although there were empty seats available. My husband ordered a beer that they didnt stock at present but at no point was told by the waitress and was given something different but was passed off as what he'd ordered. Not likely to return.

We had a lovely meal and great service. Nice wine too. Menu gave us plenty of choices, we had the Pork, plenty on your plate, the spicy chips were spicy and the food was hot when it came to the table.

This was my fourth visit and I was expecting to have your excellent roast beef lunch. the only roast on offer was chicken. The music was too loud, the new menu was disappointing and so was the choice of beer. As a result we had a drink and went to another venue. It was such a shame as it was our wedding anniversary and we were looking forward to it.

Friendly efficient service ..lovely good quality food. Plenty of choice on the menu. Love the lunchtime offer of a main meal and a glass of wine £10.

The food was not cooked property the burger was still pink apart from the outside of it. Waited 40 mins for the meal even though only 6 people in. Paid with a £40 voucher for £30 meal and was told no change/credit note given for the £10 overspend. Partner said it was awful to the girl and she said nothing. In all fairness we have no intention of returning! Very disappointed as it was a birthday treat!

Having heard such good reports about this we decided to give it a go. The place wasn't fully booked so would have expected the service to be great. It was very slow, there only appeared to be one member of staff working the room for the first hour we were there. Drinks came in reasonable time but the food took about 40 minutes and was not very pleasingly presented. It lacked any presentation whatsoever. One of our party said their food was good, one gave an ok and two of us said it was awful! - The halloumi was the saltiest halloumi I have ever tasted, the sundried tomatoes resembled prunes and there was no evidence of the sweet chilli sauce which had been mentioned in the menu. A few lettuce leaves fired on the side and that was it. Very disappointing. The room was also very cold so we ate and left for a warmer environment. Would maybe return for drinks but would not be rushing back for food. It was a shame as the décor, etc is very pleasing.

The food was absolutely delicious and the manager was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back, in fact I plan on taking my parents when they come to visit the country!

Quite a long wait to get starters, another long wait for main course. Lovely steak though. Very disappointed with desert- ordered Eton mess and it was only a large glass of cream with mixed fruit mixed in. No merguine in site. Couldn’t eat it.

We had a great meal in lovely surroundings. The service was excellent. Everyone should try the chocolate brownie it is lush. Will defo be back.
