Very friendly staff & gorgeous food. Really enjoyed our evening, all the staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. We all loved the idea of cooking "on the rocks", it was a whole new different dining experience. We will definitely be going back.

What a lovely little quirky restaurant. Excellent host. Delicious food. Excellent wine. Novelty concept. It's true that you get what you pay for and while it's not the cheap option it's definitely one to consider if quality overrides price.if you can go in the week, their weekday prix fixe deal is fantastic..... Same food as the weekend menu but cheaper!

We had a lovely evening at "On The Rocks" We've had meat /seafood cooked on a stone on a few occasions in different locations (we also have cooking stones at home)so the experience was familiar but it was the most relaxing evening we've had. Staff were chirpy and friendly. Please give it a try!

Pleasant staff, food was good, enjoyable evening. Just a very minor point, the tables are a little on the small side, not much elbow room!

Visited on a whim on a Saturday night and so glad we did. Such a quirky concept, friendly staff and delicious food - we'll certainly be back!

Always excellent food and service. New owners have kept the quality high. Drinks still slightly overpriced but by far the best restaurant in central bromsgrove.

I absolutely love On the Rocks. I have been a few times now and you are always treated as if you were friends rather then just customers. The food is always delicious and never disappoints. I have a nut allergy which always causes concerns when I go out for dinner however Dean always puts my mind at rest knowing exactly what I can and can't eat. Would definitely recommend this for anyone and everyone!

Thoroughly enjoyed the cooking on the hot rocks at the table. Quality food which was of good value. Staff were extremely attentive and customer focussed. Would definately visit again.

Quality of both food & service was exceptional, even given you cooked your own main on volcanic rock in front of you. Ambiance was also very welcoming & friendly. We will certainly be going back again soon

Good was excellent, atmosphere brilliant and the service was outstanding. I've been here 3-4 times before and everytime it's been an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

we ordered the drinks but they didn't arrive , so had to re-order. we were told the vegetables were certain items but something different arrived, when we mentioned it they took them away and said the will bring the correct order. vegetables did not arrive at all, considering we cooked most of the food ourselves on the lava rock it wasn't a pleasant experience

Absolutely fantastic, starters and deserts were absolutely fantastic, as was the veg and chips which came with the stake. Brilliant experience cooking the steak ourselves. Staff were incredible, all very polite and chatty. Definitely would go back.

This restaurant is definitely one of the best restaurants I have been to for a very long time. It was the best steak we have ever had. Absolutely fantastic, not a bad word to say about it!

Brilliant evening, the food was amazing. Quality of meat and fish was excellent and the puddings are unbelievable. Service was very attentive but not too much that it interfered with our evening. I would highly recommend it. Go there, you wont be disappointed!

Wonderfull food - we all had steak with great starters and sweets. The house Pinotage was better than most house reds. The new owner was enthusiastic and caring. As you cook your own meat, the proprietor is even more responsible for sourcing the very best ingredients as evidenced by the quality of the food in our meal.

The steak was lovely and tender and it is fun cooking it yourself at the table. The raspberry cheesecake was amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Excellent food and service. The steak cooked on volcanic rock is delicious and so tender it melts in your mouth! I had the chicken with peppercorn sauce which very tasty and cooked to perfection. Will definitely visit On the Rocks again as there is so much on the menu to enjoy.
