My wife and I had a lovely meal on a balmy summers evening. We would have stayed for desert but we were so full after a starter and main course with a bottle of chilled rose we had no room left for even a coffee. Very good quality of food, the only downside is that the restaurant could have done with some ventilation on a hot summers evening. Will be back next time we come to Worcester.

We went to Ostlers to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had the mid week steak deal - £50 for a focaccia starter, 2 gorgeous sirloin steaks with chips (special ones 😄) and a great bottle of wine. Lovely meal and good service. There was only us and another table of three in but the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and ambience whatever. Will certainly go again for another special occasion.

The food, friendliness of service and atmosphere were great as always but the food took over an hour to arrive and it wasn’t very busy. All in all it was still a good experience but would have ordered more starters if we knew things would take so long

Ostlers is consistentantly excellent. From the moment you wall in to when you leave. Staff are fantastic, they are attentive as well as being knowledgable about the menu and food.  Food is exceptional, every flavour compliments each other. Wine is excellent quality.  Will definitely be returning and recommending to others. Thank You Ostlers.

Excellent food and considering it was the hottest day of the year it was pleasantly cool. It was busy but service was very good and we enjoyed the gap between starter and main as the starters where well proportioned. Good drinks menu as well. Very reasonable the prices for the quality of food presented.

Really enjoyed all the food my wife really likes the bean soup and my goats cheese and beetroot starter is tasty and well presented. Mains were sea bass and steak well cooked, tasty with very nice side dishes. No room for desert but from past experience can recommend the Bakewell Tart

We've been a few times before and this time the menu choices were not as attractive. Starter quality not as good (ribs), mains were fine, desert was disappointing.

A lovely inviting restaurant with pleasant staff. However unfortunately the Sunday roast was piled up high and as a result was not very appetizing.

We`d booked for a pre theatre meal and the restaurant wasn't busy. There was only 1 waiter serving and maybe the kitchen was low staffed too as it took a while for the order to be taken and then the main course to arrive. We had to bolt the desert down and then rush to the theatre and even then, missed the opening 10 mins. The food was excellent and decent value, however knowing it was a pre show meal, and the waiter was informed when we arrived. It was disappointing to have to rush at the end. We did feel sorry for the waiter.

Excellent meal. We had the pre theatre menu. Both courses tasted good and were presented beautifully. It was a last minute choice and was really pleased.

So loud, service very pleasant but slow. Don’t know why they didn’t bring menus when they took our drinks order, or offer both menus instead of just theatre one. Poor vegetarian choices. Been looking forward to visiting but shan’t rush back although food was nice

On arrival my partner and I were greeted promptly and shown to our table, our drinks order was taken and brought to us quickly. Then presented with the Food menu we made our choice so order was taken and food served to us in good time, so the experience so far is very good. During our meal a young male waiter I would describe as character off Faulty towers. He was rushing around practically running from restaurant into the kitchen and back again. He appeared to be clumsy dropping a wine chiller causing a loud bang which startled all the customers because of his endeavour to do everything quickly which he did apologise for, once we hade finished our main course the plates were taken very quickly. We then sat waiting to be brought a desert menu or to be asked if we would like anymore drinks, waiters and waitresses passed us on numerous occasions we felt as though we were invisible also two of them standing near to the bar area appearing to be doing nothing but having a conversation with one another, after 45 minutes we were asked if everything was ok and could he get us anything else. We politely said no thank you we have been waiting 45 minutes since our plates were taken so just the bill please. The waiter apologised also agreed we shouldn’t have to wait 45 minutes until someone comes to us. In way of apology for the disappointment the drinks we did have were deducted from the bill. The atmosphere in the restaurant was ruined because of a customer making a scene describing his main as disgusting then going on to argue with another customer.

I visited for Sunday lunch with my grandmother, we arrived at 12 noon for our table. we were the only people there. shortly followed by another two couples at 12.30 and 12.45. We overheard that that was all the bookings they had unusually quiet for sure. We ordered two mains, these took a little longer than expected to come out but good food isn't rushed and we had some delicious complimentary home made focaccia bread with balsamic dipping oil. The mains we received did not disappoint. Roast pork with roast potatoes, red cabbage, green beans, broccoli, carrots, a huge Yorkshire pudding, pan gravy (just delicious) apple sauce and more when we asked. the portions are very large but went down a treat. There was no room for pudding despite the delicious looking dessert menu so we opted for 1 liquor coffee. unfortunately this took 15-20 minutes to arrive despite so few diners. this was the only negative comment to make but the coffee was delicious so worth the wait. would highly recommend.

The food is wonderful, can not fault it. However the service is very slow. They made a mistake with our bill, having two drinks on there that was for the table behind us. We will go back as we do enjoy the food.

First time back for some years - still a lovely place for a special evening. Staff friendly and attentive. Interesting menu and food was superb. Very quiet the night we were there so lacked atmosphere but not much they could have done about that.
