Overall an enjoyable evening. Did the Thursday Chateau Briand club night. Waiting staff very efficient and informative. Every one very polite and helpful.10/10 Food: Fillet of beef naturally very tender, but I did detect a hint of garlic (maybe oil & garlic marinade?)which I personally don't like. In my opinion reverse searing of the fillet could be looked at. Fries fine: tender stem over chard for me: croquettes fine: Jus, in my opinion was more of a pan gravy. These comments are purely my own opinion. Rest of the party totally happy. Thank you & we hope to return soon, either to you or your Worcester venue. Regards, Trevor Hodgetts.

Steak was not cooked as requested and sent back. When recooked it was okay but the cutlery was left in the kitchen and the sauce was not replaced. Unfortunate because previous visits have been good.

Told restaurant it was a birthday celebration and was told we would be well looked after , However on arrival no mention of birthday also had to tell staff we were ready to order as we were left by ourselves , service was poor what should have been a nice evening out , wasn't

Second time to Ounce and it didn’t disappoint. Staff are fab, cocktails are the real deal and the meal was outstanding.

We visited Christmas Eve. The wine was ordered and just put on the table. Didn’t check the bottle or whether we wanted to taste it. We had to pour it ourselves, Had to ask twice for another a drink we had ordered. limited choice of starter which was ok. Main course was lovely. Shame the service was so poor. For the cost we would have expected a better experience.

I’ve had the butcher’s cut steak on a number of occasions and it’s usually very good. However, recently it has been very poor.

Service fine, waiting staff very helpful. I had the roast beef Sunday lunch, the beef was served very thick and unfortunately the knives are not sharp enough to cut through it easily. I thought the beef was flavourless. Veg ok but potatoes were again hard to cut through although quite nice on the inside. It’s a shame because the ambience etc is ok.

Great meat, good taste and well cooked. Have an issue with pre cooked roast potatoes as the taste and texture is never as good as a proper roasted potato, although I understand the reason why it's done this way. Personally, I would switch this method in favour of a potato fondant or gratin. Yorkshire puds could have been better, check James Martin recipe. Overall the food was warm but only just on the side of warm. A few small tweaks and it could be a lot better.

Fabulous as always, Cannot fault anything. If we lived closer we'd be there all the time!

What a great way to spend a Tuesday evening - great mates, fantastic service and amazing food. Bradley, you run a really tight ship, credit to you and your all your team. I love the unassuming vibe which is upstaged by the amazingly friendly staff, consistently superb food and great value. If you’ve not tried the £1 per ounce evenings, get over on a Tuesday or Wednesday and thank me later.

Excellent food and the atmosphere and service were great! The steak was cooked to perfection and overall the food exceeded expectations.

Staff and atmosphere lovely. Beef was very tough, meal only just warm. Only hot part was the cauliflower cheese. Actually that was the best part of the meal. On the whole it was just about OK, shame as we were really excited about the place but we won't be going back.

Top quality food. Very good service and ambiance. The jus enhances the steak brilliantly. Leeks and cauliflower are excellent sides as well.

Steaks were rare although asked for medium. Had to ask three times for a glass of tap water. Everything else was good.

Excellent value at £1-00 per ounce on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Sides not cheap but very good. Impressed with the service. Will return.
