Honestly 9/10. Only small niggle was chef has mixed up cooking of our steaks so my partner end up with only 6oz fillet (mine) cooked blue and his 8oz which should be the blue was cooked medium rare. Despite this mix up both steaks were fantastic. Highly recommended

First time we have visited Ounce for Sunday lunch. it was quite busy, but the food was fantastic. Will definitely be back again!

Sunday roast beef is fantastic. The butchers board doubles up on Yorkshire, potatoes etc and gives extra beef. Well worth the tiny price premium.

We came for my husbands Birthday yesterday. I always give him the option of what he fancies, I obviously knew he was going to choose a burger 😆 so booked ounce 2-4-1. They were absolutely amazing and tasted insane. Will definitely be back again 😊

Thoroughly enjoyable - we loved the steak. It was cooked beautifully and there was speculations on the price, whether the steak would be a good cut but honestly it was amazing!

We’ve been coming to Ounce Bishampton since the restaurant was opened and have always had amazing meals, especially with the pound an Ounce on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. This Wednesday evening was the first time we have ever had a steak with gristle through it. It’s very disappointing, as I believe the butcher has been changed. I really hope that this was a one off and the quality will return to normal.

My steak was nice and tender, though my friends wasn't as it was a little chewy unfortunately the establishment took her steak off the bill which was very good of them. We did have a lovely evening though!!

Waiting staff were a bit slow and note very attentive to details, e.g. drinks order requested when no wine list had been provided, replacement cutlery just handed to one guest rather than placed correctly for each guest. But generally it was a pleasant experience

Came to celebrate a birthday and really enjoyed our visit. Food was excellent as was the wine and beer. Staff were friendly and helpful. A real pleasure and will return in the future.

Lovely food, steak was cooked beautifully. It’s a shame they don’t have any baby changing facilities as there was nowhere for me to change my baby’s nappy.

I asked for a dirty burger as your beef is too raw for my taste I asked for no cheese as the cheese is blue and I am allergic to mould. It came with blue cheese. I tend to eat my burgers with a knife and fork and remove the bread first so I could spot there was cheese and take it off. I know you can't control who eats there but there was a noisy group of cackling women and a group of ppl talking very loudly in European so very noisy.
