Ounce At Bishampton

Such a lovely friendly atmosphere when you first walk into the restaurant, greeted with a smile. Came on Tuesday for the pound per ounce menu and it was absolutely phenomenal would not change a thing definitely will be coming again as I have booked another table for future as I was that please with my visit!! Happy faces all around :)

Steaks were the best we’ve ever eaten. Friday night it was very busy. We were sat next to the bar in the back room and noisy people were stood at the bar, people bumping into my chair and bad language spoiled the evening. My wife had salad and no chips but it was basically just some lettuce, disappointing. The staff were brilliant. The steaks were absolutely amazing. However Friday night and people were having fun. Probably won’t go again, but credit to the staff and particularly the chef.

We had asked for a specific table which we were able to have and as always, the food was AMAZING! Great, friendly and attentive (but not overly so) service in a lively pub atmosphere. We will return as it’s such a great place to go and enjoy a fantastic steak.

first visit here very open space ,food was delicious but I prefer the atmosphere at the other restaurant

Usually go to the Worcester Ounce but we wanted to try Bishampton, lovely atmosphere, staff were lovely, food was delicious! Definitely our new favourite out of the two restaurants.

We were not disappointed! Meal was amazing. Attentive staff. If I have to criticise- we hadn’t even got our coats off and sat down before asking if we wanted drinks.

The tables for two are the small circular variety usually used purely for drinking, therefore every plate used overlapped the edge. The drinks glasses needed to be placed over the adjoining window sill to create space.Therefore we would recommend an investment of small square tables. When we shared the Camembert starter only one slice of bread accompanied the meal which we felt inadequate. The Chateaubriand was beautifully cooked but all the accompaniments and side’s were very heavily salted and as we write this review over an hour later we still have an overbearing taste of salt in our mouths. While appreciating these are to our individual tastes this should be taken into consideration.

Lunchtime dining with a visiting friend whos jealous of our village pub! We both had the loaded burger served with leaves & fries. Delicious as usual & great team :))

Lunchtime burger & 2 steaks for our party x3. New lunchtine steak deal inc. rump or bavette cut cooked to your liking with either garlic butter or a herb butter served with fries. Lovely team as usual:))

The food as usual was great - but the place was so cold! When this was mentioned to a member of staff he said the place took a while to heat up (!) but the radiator in the room that we ate in wasn't even on....

Food was absolutely outstanding! It was very busy, so we had to wait a lottle while to be seated. The staff were running around doing their very best. would definitely return!

We came last week to Bishampton .. and i didn't say anything at the time- as I appreciate things happen... but the food was barely lukewarm- there was a skin on the sauces they had been standing so long ... it took ages to bring all the food out... we had half ate everything by the time the salads came - and the who place was really quiet so it wasn't due to being busy. It wasn't great to be honest... writing this so you are aware.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and Sunday dinner and sides were delicious and perfectly cooked! Already looking forward to visiting again soon!
