I have visited this place on several occasions, we were running late on this occasion and the staff were fantastic, very understanding and accommodating. When the food arrived it was absolutely delicious. Three of us ate different roast dinners , Childs roast beef for me , braised beef and a roast lamb dinner every single one was outstanding. Can not recommend this place enough.,

The acoustics were rather difficult. The restaurant was full and the atmosphere jolly and we had a pleasant evening. We will certainly return , maybe try another time or food menu

first trip to the ounce at bishampton. the steak was excellent and the pub atmosphere was very cosy even though it was busy. the steak offer seems to have changed though and there is no longer anything on the plate other than steak and chips. great for some but the small salad that used to be included was missed.

Great twixmas Sunday lunch. The Butchers board is a delight and well worth the money. Plenty of meat, veg and double yorkies! Cheaper Sunday lunches are available elsewhere but they are not as good as this. Cheerful team despite being so busy.

Our table was booked for 6pm and we were done by 6.30pm we felt the meal was very rushed. Our table was very small and we felt crammed into a small space which was comfortable to eat our meal. The seating in the area by the ladies toilets was very busy and it was difficult to get into the ladies toilets without having to squeeze past other diners. Not had an experience like this before at ounce. It was our anniversary so we were a little disappointed.

First visit to Ounce. The steak was amazing. I didn’t need a dessert but, I’m so glad I had the Cheesecake, very enjoyable. Will definitely be returning.

The chateaubriand was excellent, as usual, with a large selection of tasty extras. The staff were welcoming and attentive.
