Staff was amazing but the steaks was terrible 3 out of 4 of us struggled to chew it took ages to eat it didn’t want to put them out so we didn’t complain we bagged most of the steaks up and brought it home for our 2 dogs I’ve eaten there before with no issues steaks has always been amazing but this time it wasn’t unfortunately

The service was good. One steak was very chewy and had some bad cauliflower in the cauliflower cheese. The other steaks were OK.

Lovely Sunday lunch, 5 star as usual …..bagged a free cocktail as well!

Food outstanding & very tasty. Service hit and miss. Server did not know the menu so could not answer questions. Had to wait after being served starter for cutlery to eat it. Empty wine glasses not removed when not getting used. Music too loud so difficult to hear table conversation. Drinks available very poor for non alcoholic. Asked for pint of coke told Pepsi but not that it was Pepsi Max. No alcohol free beers offered I e. Zero Guinness. No J20 only orange juice.

Everything was good, not as good as normal food is less but prices have gone up. Not by much but definitely less meat.

Shared board toast dinner with lamb and beef and was amazing plus all the trimmings thank you!

Always pop in when in Worcester approx 1xmonth with partner. At the beginning we recommended to all our friends. Visits became hit n miss, yesterday was terrible. Ordered 2 x medium steaks, both came very over done, even crust on the outside. Cauliflower cheese dry, no sauce and garlic mushrooms tasteless. Very very disappointing, standards have dropped dramatically. Service remained good, however very few people eating when it used to be so busy. We did not complain, just smiled. Complaing not our thing but will not be returning which is such a shame, really used to look forward to the experience. Genuinely saddened we won't be visiting again 😒.

Food was lovely as usual but restaurant was overbooked, meaning our table wasn’t ready on time. there is no area for just having drinks and so had to wait squashed in by the service bar. There was a table of very loud drunken men arguing with the staff- (who handled it very well), but it was very made the experience very uncomfortable!

The service was excellent as usual. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Steak cooked to perfection again as usual. The only criticism is that my Mums steak was very chewy. She had the Butchers Cut. She loved the taste but had a leave quite abit because of it being so hard to chew and digest.

We had booked for 5.30pm and were kept waiting standing at bar until 5.55pm, we then waited until 6.35 for food, luckily we weren't in particular rush but had got tickets for 7.30pm at the cinema so were checking the time. £1 ounce steak ordered, very basic presentation, very salty chips but overall food was nice. You pay extra for anything other than chips, small pot of peppercorn sauce £5.00 and portion of garlic mushrooms £6.00

Had a great meal at Ounze today,steak very good ,no fat ,lovely Chilean Merlot red ,great service . It was very busy .

Unbelievably good Steak, cooked to perfection. The Fries and sides were awsome too. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, service was really good. Definitely coming back at some point.

Salt Brewery Jute is gone and replaced with Camden Pale which is disappointing. Another visit for a birthday and most of the food was spot on as usual. However two of the steaks were a bit sinewy and tougher than they should have been. Also ran out of one of the desserts we wanted, c’est la vie. Good atmosphere and a good visit but we have had better here.

Good value for money, excellent service and great friendly ambiance

We found the steaks quite salty, the chips as well. And the green salad didn't have any dressing, just the leaves and some parmigiano on top.

The service was super friendly and professional, the quality of the food was incredible, as usual and kudos to the barman for the margaritas. We will be back.

Very quick service, helped us get out to see the football! Food was excellent and so was the Salt brewery Jute which is a great pint. Shame it is only steak and chips on £ an ounce night, the salad options seem to have disappeared. The staff were happy to swap the chips for salad for a couple of our group.

Got a table immediately and service was very quick. It was a friend’s birthday and he thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Good atmosphere, very busy for a restaurant in January.
