Very enjoyable! lovely food value for money, service very good

We decided to try the Sunday roast for a change from the steak offer. We had to ask to move our table as there was a noisy baby/child behind us. Also the music was a bit too loud. The meal was very tasty & the service good but we felt there should be a bit more beef on our plates.

Excellent Sunday lunch and service was good as usual. We all enjoyed it.

Roast beef wasctually slices of a steak. Good but poor sized portion Yorkshire puds were not fresh and were very dry. Clearly "end of day" service.

A much quieter than usual Sunday lunch so it was great that the staff had time to chat as they are normally running around. Well presented, extremely tasty roast beef and all the trimmings. Couldn't fault a thing!

Excellent food and service once again from this great restaurant. An extremely busy Sunday lunch so was rather noisy at times but there was a great atmosphere. The roast beef was spectacular and the cauliflower cheese to die for. No room for dessert sadly but we were offered the option to take it away. Have booked again.

My wife and I were celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary and although the food was delicious I just felt a little bit let down as the staff at no point made any reference to this occasion which I thought would have been a nice touch seeing as you asked me when I booked if we was celebrating any occasion.

Second time we have visited, and yet again the food was amazing. Great staff too. Will be back again very soon.

Service was ok. Only two options left on menu for starters which was disappointing. When served plates were slammed down. Steak I asked for medium it was rare. Got billed for extra bottle of wine we didn’t have. Staff were not really attentive we were left too it. Sadly not the experience we wanted. Would go back but book an earlier time on a Saturday night.
