Ounce At Worcester

There was six of us that had booked for lunch, The food was good as usual. One of steaks was tough so was replaced without any problem

Great great great great food as always and lovely staff

Food was great, waiters were prompt and efficient. Ambiance was very pleasing. Slight niggle about the size of the head on my pint, but overall an excellent meal experience.

Service very slow and variable in quality. Side dishes excellent, one of our steaks was poor, server not that bothered. Cheesecake was bland, sticky toffee pudding very good

Arrived at Ounce at peak time and restaurant was extremely busy so we had a short wait for our table ,so we were asked to wait at table outside , which was fine . Once seated , the staff were very efficient and food and drink soon arrived. It was fantastic! We really enjoyed our meals and it made for a great night THANK YOU TO ALL !

Just east great all round compared to past visit which was a shame

Lovely evening. As usual had the butchers cut and it was superb. Shame you no longer get a little side salad but the quality of the rump is superb. Will be back at some point to check their new rotisserie chicken.

Steak and chips were very good ,excellent butchers cut piece of meat . Wine nice ,service good . They use to give you a mushroom ,tomato and a bit of salad with cheese on but nothing now . Ordered extra tender stem ok but not much veg choice .

Yes, another great experience also great food. Having been lucky to have receive a nice voucher for my birthday I went full on: 20oz steak, side salad, mushrooms and butcher jus. All accompanied by a small glass of Chilean Merlot. Rare steak. Cooked to perfection. Great service. No room for pudding. Thank you Ounce. Perfect again

I feel that Ounce could be becoming a victim of its own success sadly. Last night was the first time I’ve found it to be overly busy, staff not coping with the amount of people and bookings, people waiting, glasses piled up at the bar, not bringing drinks ordered etc. we waited at the bar 20 minutes on arrival to tell anyone we had arrived for our booking. We had to ask numerous to get drinks which didn’t come until nearly finished meal. On the plus side, the steak was great, as always
