Ounce At Worcester

Another excellent visit to my favourite restaurant. We were allocated a lovely table with lots of room. Drinks served quickly and always with fine service. A /0oz steak ordered and cooked to perfection. Side salad has been removed but this causes no issue to the steak. I cannot express how much I cherish this restaurant and look forward to my next visit

9 of us visited Ounce in Worcester for a birthday meal. From start to finish, it was a superb evening. Every meal cooked as requested and tasted delicious. Kate was very conscientious and ensured that we were looked after by her waitress.

A good quality roast dinner, great service and surroundings. Unfortunately even though the food was good it didn’t quite meet the quality of our last trip here. Portions are also considerably smaller.

We go here for the £1 an ounce deal. It is excellent value and always so tasty. The best steak I have ever had.

Arrived at 12:45 Waitress was quite slapdash drinks ordered menus left. Food arrived VERY over done Yorkshire puddings on all our plates. Not once asked if everything was ok. Felt quite disappointed to our past experiences at ounce - and it was our anniversary.

Staff excellent but meal average. Had better and for far less. Not value for money

Ounce was absolutely perfect - amazing service, surroundings are lovely - the outdoor bit looked really nice too - and of course the food was incredible. 100% will visit again.

Friendly welcome - courteous and attentive staff - we had the Thursday special chateaubriand along with a portion of fries, cauliflower cheese and the peppercorn sauce ... OMG it was delicious! There were 4 of us in our party and we were stopping in Worcester for a couple of nights but have said we will gladly travel the hour to eat there again!

Would definitely return, the steak was amazing. We came on a Tuesday evening where it was £1 an ounce and treated ourself to a starter of the koftas and the scallops which UNREAL! However we probably did over order, that a was a us problem and not from the venue. The service was second to none. If you haven’t tried, it’s a MUST! Thankyou for making it such a lovely evening.

We travelled a long way to eat based on recommendations that the food was excellent. The steaks we ordered were absolutely superb. However, we were seated opposite the chefs lift where the staff constantly access because the cutlery etc is based there. This meant that we were permanently looking at someone's back side leaning over and the constant clatter of cutlery being thrown (not placed) into the containers which was noisy and unnecessary. Because of this we will not revisit, but the food was good.

First Sunday booking and the food was lovely. Went for the Butchers Board and was filling. Don't feel it's as good a value as the pound an ounce.

Nice place, welcoming staff and efficient service. However, the rump roast (main Sunday meal) was disappointing because much of it was very chewy and so tough it couldn’t be cut. When this was pointed out the waitress only apologised but no reduction in price was offered!
