Ounce At Worcester

My sons steaks came out rare rather than medium which the kitchen attempted to put right but ended up coming out rare yet again, so complained yet again to which the staff apologised and attempted to put right again but the same thing happened again and came back out the kitchen rare for a 3rd time. Very poor from a restaurant we usually love

Perfect summers day! Sat outside and the waitress was friendly and remembered us from our previous visits. The steak was amazing and the Aperol was delicious too!! Could not ask for more!!

The best streaks in Worcester, their Dexter Sirloin is a brilliant choice.

This was a spontaneous date, we have been to Ounce before with friends but never just as a couple. The food was lovely and good value for money - we ordered off the lunch menu and this was sufficient for us both. We definitely plan on returning for lunch again in the not too distant future.

Staff are very good on every level. Food was fabulous, with the steak being superb. Highly recommended. One tiny negative was that the meal was visually let down by the lack of any salad. Steakchips and sauce.... Perhaps i should of asked for salad with it.

My steak was a bit over cooked this time. I asked for rare but came out to be medium.

Had better steaks, worst visit we have had & we usually love Ounce. Waitresses & waiter quite rude. Manager lovely but can't do it all by herself!

Second visit- this time with family. They loved it. Sat under speaker so should have asked for a move of table- I'm sure that would not have been a problem. They'd sold out of chicken main course sadly for my wife. Still a great venue for lovers of steaks & jus. Note to lovely staff- Keep looking at diners, it was sometimes hard to get your attention without waving like a "bore".

Absolutely stunning meal. You can’t get nicer steak and at a pound an ounce you can’t complain.

We had the BBQ platter between two of us and all we can say is that it was amazing! Would have again if a special occasion and it was on offer as price is costly but ok for a special occasion

Been going to ounce for few years, little bit disappointed when butchers cut turned up without any salad, was never much anyway, but made the plate look more interesting. Steak good although, asked for rare but certainly medium rare. Previously always spot on...

The food and service were really good. The issue was the temperature of the restaurant was very uncomfortable.

Great dining experience food was perfect from start to finish, I’d say only down side is the parking to the restaurant.

Really hot day and not surprisingly the restaurant was very warm. Felt sorry for the staff! Drink order was misplaced initially , but sorted . Food was really good . Steaks cooked perfectly and the garlic mushrooms were gorgeous. We’ll be back - but on a cooler day !

The food was excellent - cooked perfectly with so much flavour. Huge portion sizes too. The service was slow and the staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there. We had a 9pm reservation and it seemed like they wanted to just go home. Quality of food compared to the service was mismatched and we felt this way previously when we have visited. Therefore unlikely to return.

Met up with friends on a very warm evening, the temperature in the restaurant was just right, the service was excellent and all five of us agreed that our food was probably the best we’ve had there and we’ve been many times , all five steaks were perfectly cooked , thank you to Kate and the team at Ounce.

Adult steaks were beautiful as usual but would suggest that childrens steaks didn't have the dressing on which was a bit salty for their taste.

Awesome burger. Loads of cheese and bacon included and had the option of adding fries for £1. Tasty… very…
