Another excellent meal, first time we have eaten during the afternoon, service was very quick and steaks were served exactly as ordered

The steaks were cooked to perfection and the sauce was beautiful.

Fabulous, excellent steak , excellent value , variety of accompaniments is also excellent , and Kate , and her staff again are excellent. Would definitely recommend.

The food was excellent - cooked perfectly with so much flavour. Huge portion sizes too. The service was slow and the staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there. We had a 9pm reservation and it seemed like they wanted to just go home. Quality of food compared to the service was mismatched and we felt this way previously when we have visited. Therefore unlikely to return.

Met up with friends on a very warm evening, the temperature in the restaurant was just right, the service was excellent and all five of us agreed that our food was probably the best we’ve had there and we’ve been many times , all five steaks were perfectly cooked , thank you to Kate and the team at Ounce.

Adult steaks were beautiful as usual but would suggest that childrens steaks didn't have the dressing on which was a bit salty for their taste.

Awesome burger. Loads of cheese and bacon included and had the option of adding fries for £1. Tasty… very…

Went for the £1 an ounce night, which was very good. Had already had their normal ribeye steak - and this much cheaper option was very nearly almost as good.

Difficult review to write. First visit to Ounce in Worcester, restaurant looked lovely. Steak arrived with a mustard sauce (we were asked if we wanted any sauces and preferred them plain) so we thought we had someone else's meal. On checking with the staff the gentleman said that is our special coating we put on all our steaks, i said its mustard (which i love) but husband does not like at all, cant stand it really. The staff member said is shows it on the menu which i asked to see and it says "brushed with magic and love" doesn't say anything about mustard. So I said aren't you supposed to state the ingredients to which the staff member said no there is a sign over there by the front door which shows allergens. I was absolutely shocked and the conversation was becoming one of blame us and the staff member was intent on explaining that it was out fault. We had been for our first visit to bishampton ounce two weeks earlier and the chef there did not put the mustard on the steaks. I'd not seem my husband for weeks due to our jobs, he didn't want to make a fuss, me neither as we were out celebrating my new job so he just ate it and washed each mouthful down with his vodka and coke. My dinner was lovely, tarragon mushroom different flavour to bishampton but lovely meal. Just a shame we were made to feel to blame which put us off sending food back so wont be back sadly.

A late Sunday afternoon lunch on Father's Day so we were expecting it to be busy. A slight wait for menus and drinks order and a slight delay in food coming but it was nice to not feel rushed and enjoy the atmosphere. The butchers roast board was just exceptional and we both savoured every mouthful and cleared the boards. A side of cauliflower cheese added to the meal. No room for puds unfortunately. Overall, a great meal and we would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and the food was gorgeous. Steak cooked to perfection and the sides were stunning! We had the col cheese, cabbage and garlic mushrooms. Shared these between two. There was plenty! Will be back.

Amazing quality butchers steak cooked to perfection- perfect! As usual it was extremely busy and the staff were stretched beyond busy to provide excellent service. The glassware filled the bar space as a result!!

Lovely food as always but unacceptable delays with food & drinks. Didn’t seem particularly busy when we arrived although it filled up before we left. 45 minutes to get a drink on a hot day & that was after chasing it. Food arrived just before drinks but no serving spoons & took another 15 mins to arrive after asking for them. We all used our own cutlery to serve! 🙄

The staff that were there did their best. But.....we were told they were very short staffed, no tables had been cleared when we arrived at our booked time, there was no house lager, the ale my husband ordered was bad. Our food arrived before my husbands replacement drink which was also bad. My husbands steak was also overcooked.

Lunch time meal for 4. All took advantage of the £1 per ounce deal. Food was very good.

Food fabulous as always, sat in bar area which was noisy and uncomfortable. Chair kept falling down hole in floor. Really unfortunate as it was for a birthday, we ate and left as soon as we could rather than staying for cocktails

We go to ounce once or twice a month and have never had a bad experience,great food great staff and sensible money on pound an ounce night. Have to book in advance , very popular.
