we normally go on Thursday for Chateaubriand sharer but decided to try the Sunday lunch. The Meat was excellent as usual but the potatoes and vegetables far too over seasoned. My partner doesn't like pepper and vegetables were covered in pepper.Such a shame.

A great Butchers board Sunday lunch as always. Very busy restaurant so there was a short wait for drinks and about 30 minutes for food from time of ordering. All staff attentive and friendly. Food excellent apart from over-salted roast potatoes.

As always the food at Ounce was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. Our only critique was that our food was delivered to another table by accident. As our table and this table were very close together I had recognised that it was sent to the wrong one and, even though the staff tried their best to hide the fact that this had happened, we were then brought out the same food even though it had been left unattended on this other couples table. If I hadn't of seen that this couple didn't touch the food I would have sent it back but it was sat down and they just looked at it confused. I understand the staff were extremely busy and other then this were brilliant but I did just think that if food had been left on somebody else's table it shouldn't have then come to us.

Best steak ever, just a bit expensive. The Camembert starter is lush

Food was good but a bit of a muddle with whose steak was who’s , but Kate made it right , and it certainly didn’t spoil our experience.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. We will definitely be returning. It would have been nice to have more vegetables instead of the extra Yorkshire pudding.

We loved the ambience, venue, message, menu & food quality - all delicious. But we’d love to see the service raised from average cafe/pub vibe, to match the quality of the food served and the money spent - ie generally more attentive waiting service. Eg: “is everything ok w your meal”, refilling water without request, offering more drinks, etc. This would more likely result in a return visit.

It was absolutely beautiful! There was zero fat on the meat, it tasted perfect.

Food and service here never fail. Eaten steak all over the world and this is the best place to go, plus it’s right on my doorstep.

Chateau club Thursday… Possibly the best yet Perfect seasoning & cooked to perfection (rare)

We went for a pound an ounce night. The food was excellent (but we missed the salad that used to be served with the steaks). Unfortunately, we had to wait over 20 minutes for our table and had to chase drinks with different staff. But the steaks were amazing!

Never had a bad meal here.. there is something special the way they cook that steak… all the sides were very nice too. Quick friendly service from all the staff on a busy early evening.. fantastic local business

Food was good, not enough choice of healthy sides if you wanted a lighter meal. Never felt so rushed to leave. Mains followed the starter by seconds with no time to digest your food. There was no mention of only having the table for a certain time but after an hour there we very much felt the pressure to leave, to the point where the bill was brought and left on the table before we’d finished. Same happened to the table next to us who also weren’t pleased. Won’t be rushing to go back, plenty of other restaurants to go to where I feel our business is wanted. Shame because it was my friends birthday and we left feeling quite disappointed.

Best steaks in Worcester or anywhere else for that matter. Xx

Brilliant food, brilliant staff, just an all round brilliant evening...management was on hand and in front of the customers, happy to chat and made for a very welcoming environment the second we stepped through the door.
