Excellent food and service. Going again next week! Would recommend.

A friendly welcome, very tasty food with in a relaxed atmosphere. It was fairly quiet as expected as it was a Wednesday lunchtime but even so it felt very comfortable/ cosy. Will definitely return.

Service was great, food was amazing, did ask to move to a different table as where we were sat (by the door) was cold, this was done straight away very accomadating

We sat upstairs and it was really cold, it could perhaps do with a small heater up there. The food was lovely, I like my steak rare which I ordered… the rest of my party ordered MR. My steak was blue in the middle which I do understand because the outside cooks more, 2 of the others steaks were more R than MR which for us was fine as we don’t mind, rather under cooked than over! Service was good, attentive and polite. A lovely restaurant and we enjoyed our evening

Absolutely amazing. Steak was so well cooked for 3 of us and all came home feeling very happy with the experience. Will be looking to book large family gatherings at the venue in the future for sure!

We had the roast beef dinner. As fine a piece of beef as I've had anywhere, perfectly cooked.

Delicious Sunday roast but making us pay for extra gravy I think was a bit over the top,,

Keen to take the order expected the customer to know how the meal came to the table, no mention that the ribeye steak came with its own sauce. The table wobbled and we had to fix it due to closeness of other customers.

Always lovely, tried the Sunday Roast and that was so good! Highly recommended

Sat on a table near the bar/busy walkway wasn’t a great start The table was wobbly ..waiter sorted as best he could with napkins under the table feet One of the chair legs then fell into a hall in the wooden floor (it’s happened before apparently) ..table shouldn’t be put there where there is a chance that could happen Moved to a different table Food wasn’t great ..maybe our mistake ordering the braised beef Wasn’t the Sunday lunch dining experience we hoped for

Lovely Butchers cut of beef. Sides tasty and enough to share for 2. Steaks cooked exactly the way we prefer. Early meal but bookings full after 18.00 until 21.00. Lots of waiting staff. Sweets looked excellent but main course so substantial couldn't order one. Full bar available.

Good was good albeit expensive. Service was poor and the inflexibility shown eg to swop chips for mash was unbelievable.
