We had Chateaubriand, The steak was lovely, all the food was full of flavour and well cooked. However the chips and salad with parmesan cheese on top were served in totally wrong way as they were meant to be shared the buckets meant whoever dished there’s first first had all the cheese, due to a hole in the floor I Nearly fell off my chair, this should have been dealt with better, if It had been my wife the fall could have been very serious. slightly too pricey for the portions size. Plates were too big for table, with our meal in the middle the very hot plates hung off the edge of the table. The box that our two knives were presented in was so dirty I was able to write my name In the greasy lid. The Eton mess pudding was mainly cream with hardly any meringue , tasted great but wasn’t an Elton mess One strawberry cut into 6 and 1 raspberry was just too stingy. We had a good meal staff friendly and efficient but too many issues needs to br better value and

Me and my wife normally enjoy our visit to OUNCE but on this occasion the starters where over priced for for the portion size, I had what can only be explained as bread to dip in gravy and was Charged £5 for the privilege, we then had to wait for our main, thay came about 40mins after our starters, bothe mine and mu wife's steaks where cooked incorrectly to what we has requested.

Great Mother’s Day meal, spot on as always. Will come back

Really nice place! Great value for money (we did the £ an Oz offer). Food was great, I’ll definitely be returning. Waiting time was a little bit longer than expected, BUT, it was busy because the offer was on, so it was understandable. All the staff were lovely!

this was a Christmas present for my sister in law and her husband, they really enjoyed they steak.

Came for Lunch for a table of 3, on their website it shows £5 burger but then greated with a £7 a burger menu. Only 2 others in the restaurant after we ordered and had to wait 45 minutes because they "dropped the chips" on the floor. Burgers and chips were lukewarm at best, a little disappointed as this was for our son's birthday and we raved about how good we had it last time. Promised a birthday plate of some description but that never happened either.

Had to complain due to meat being inedible.. was told tough and nothing they could do, what a shame 😒 has put us off going back.

Tried to serve the main course before we had finished the starter? As a consequence the main course was taken back and re- served 12 minutes later and obviously not as nice as it should have been. Nobody likes to be/feel rushed especially at those prices.

Food was great but we felt the waitress was waiting for us to leave. She was very pleasant but we were the last people left upstairs and we all just had a feeling that she wished we’d hurry up.

Beautiful food as always but service not quite up to usual level sadly. Long wait to be bought bill then to pay it. Staff seemed unsure of the processes so were perhaps new. Hoping it is just a blip as always had great food and service previously!
