Ounce At Worcester

One of our favourite restaurants, we enjoyed food & drinks without being rushed.

Great as always! Very reasonably priced on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Another excellent meal at Ounce, great steak, great atmosphere and value, cannot wait for our next visit.

Superb food, friendly staff, not cheap but worth every penny. Just a shame the wife has an aversion to lillys they were used for decorating the room and there was a group of 8 near us who were rather loud. Perhaps I’m getting old?

2nd time to eat at ounce this time was Sunday lunch, wow .. absolutely delicious. I had roast lamb and veg and trimmings. Lovely lunch and surroundings. The staff are brilliant, so welcoming and efficient. This is my favourite place to eat by far. I would highly recommend.

Always love the food. Desserts were abit rubbish but we go there for the steak best in Worcester.

Food is absolutely lovely.. couldn’t fault The lady didn’t ask if we wanted extras or anything else But we overheard them asking other people if they wanted more drinks too etc The ladies were nice and polite and at the start they were very busy. But very nice food for a good price too

The quality of the food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Honestly it’s one of the best places in the UK for steak, we go out a lot and visit various Michelin star restaurants and steakhouses. But Ounce really stands out.

Yet another fabulous dinner even at £1 per ounce !!!

We took my in laws from Cheltenham and they absolutely loved it. They want to come back again, but we are fully booked on Wednesdays for the next 3 weeks with Ounce bookings with other people. Just amazing!

Once again Ounce proved to be a super evening with great steaks. The deal on a Tuesday and Wednesday does not disappoint, flavoursome and great quality. Would recommend and would go back again .

Booking process seemless and all staff professional and courteous . Main Menu font rather too small for visually impaired consideration towards having contingency spares some with bigger font. The lighting in the rear of the restaurants cubicles are too bright and consideration to change of wattage bulbs or dimmer lights. The food very tasty although ribeye slightly overpriced

Really good quality steaks and cooked to perfection. The waiting staff were very attentive and professional. However we’ve only given it four as there are just too many tables squeezed into too small a space for our liking. Intimate doesn’t really describe it!

The steak was amazing! Sadly we went on a Saturday evening and there was a DJ - not sure why as there was nowhere to dance, the music was incredibly loud and not very nice to listen to. Embarrassingly we couldn’t talk to or hear our friends so won’t go back. Real shame because the food is worth the high end price we paid.

Amazing food as usual, but I feel like myself and my partner got forgotten about in the midsts of other diners. As we had to wait half an hour to be seated, despite being told our table would take five minutes, and even when we were the waitress took a considerable amount of time to take our order. And then when we received our meal both plates were missing the usual mushroom and onions accompaniments, which is a shame since we’ve been here many times, and on all occasions have been on either a Tuesday/Wednesday when their promotion has been running and have never had a problem. However, this certainly wont refrain us from dining here again, just dampened our evening a little!

We have eaten here a few times and loved it... But on this last visit we found the steaks to be tough and quite gristley and on the colder side. It was rectified politely but when it came back it was a little under cooked. But we ate it as we were hungry. We probably won't visit for a while now as slightly disappointed.

As good as ever.......if someone told me there was a better value quality steak meal anywhere(£1 per oz) I would think them a liar
