Excellent service with wonderful food. We had the pre-theatre menu which had a lot of choice. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Can highly recommend.

Although the back restaurant atmosphere can be on the gloomy side, the quality of the food is very good. It would be good were the "fixed price" menu to have fewer items with surcharges. Ideal for a pre-theatre meal.

The stairs are difficult and no disabled toilet. But if you can do the first flight the toilet is OK. Good food, service also good.

We had a wonderful meal with very quick service as pre theatre. One negative, we saw the waiter get our butter out of the fridge with his bare hands and pop on a plate and bring to us which was very offputting ☹️

Meal and service would rate as excellent.however the back room we were seated in was dark and uninspiring and reduced our overall experience as the ambience does not match the service and reduced the overall enjoyment.

Been going here in excess of 20 years although not been for a while and was concerned the changes might have been a concern. Thankfully all was fine and everything up to scratch and possibly enhanced a little. The French fries remain the best I have eaten!!

Excellent in every sense, this is a great place to eat. The fixed price pre-theatre menu offers lots of choice at a good price. The food is fresh, hot, plentiful and very tasty. The staff are attentive and friendly, the service quick and the atmosphere is warm. Highly recommended.

Very good service, nice atmosphere and very good value. A varied menu and the food is delicious, the crab special starter especially today. Good wine recommendation by the waiter at a good price. I'm a regular here and the standard stays very high.

I chose the terrine which was good but the main course of chicken breast was dry and the vegetables lacked seasoning. My colleague chose the lamb which he rated as good. All in all not a bad meal but nothing exciting. The cost along with a carafe of house wine and a tip was reasonable at about £50. As for a return maybe?

Food was very nice and reasonably priced. Took a while to get our bill and overhead a staff remarking that it was about time as we had been there since Xmas. Not sure if the sarcasm was aimed at us the paying customer of £100+ or the person who delayed giving us the bill. There was an error with the bill being charged an extra £4.95 for a third coffee liqueur we didn't have. so to avoid wasting their precious time we deducted £5 from the tip. The waitress was sullen anyway.

Really enjoyed the Petit Paris salad starter and Pork main course, followed by a delicious raspberry and lemon sorbet for dessert. The house white wine was good, service very good. Had requested a window table but didn't get one but it was ok. Good atmosphere.

Food was as good as ever but service was very slow, seemed to have only 3 waiters looking after 3 rooms. Other later arriving tables were served before us and we almost always had to wave for attention. It wouldn't normally be a problem but as we were dining before a show at the Concert Hall we were conscious of time and didn't want to rush our meal. You must try Iced Espresso Parfait with Amaretti Biscuits - one of the nicest desserts I've ever had!

We had a fabulous visit to Petit Paris once again. I had their lovely signature salad, and my partner loved the Cornish mackerel escabeche to start, and we both had the sea bass with saffron mash from the specials board for our main courses, which was fabulous. The staff are always very friendly and courteous, and the desserts and wine are also very consistently good.

I love Petit Paris. It is old fashioned in the best possible way, with a continuity and consistency over the years that is extremely comforting and reassuring. The food is good, representing excellent value for money for the modest price. Of course, there is always room for improvement in any area of activity and in this particular case I would say the waitress could improve considerably. Indeed, her ineptness was quite amusing at times to a degree that was endearing rather than offensive (bless her).

Reservation made on-line. Seated immediately on arrival. Order taken and meal arrived vey quickly. Service great, meal delicious, house wine good. All done and dusted in time for our 2:30 p.m.matinee performance at the theatre. We really love this place. Always look forward to arriving after a long rail trip from Lincoln, particularly on a cold and rainy day like today.
